Lame. The logo reminds me of the old Fox Foto logo. Still it's not as bad as the mooterus Stars, the urine yellow Predators nor the baby blue Thrashers.

Scotty Bowman said you could tell how good a team is playing by the goal differential. The Wings' sucks right now. Plus two is disappointing for this team. The whole team is playing poorly right now - including Osgood and Conklin.

Any artist who's a hockey fan would've been better - DKM, Kid Rock, Shania Twain, etc.

Oh, and it's no less valid than your belief that just because Lindsay and Fedorov had similar numbers and both left under bad terms that Fedorov's number will someday be retired by the Red Wings organization.

Numbers shouldn't be retired anymore either. The only franchise that has it right is Toronto. That's the way to do it.

No I'm not. I'm believing that it could be true that players could be part of the braintrust and that others could have had said they didn't want Fedorov back. Certainly seems reasonable to me. Fedorov sat out most of 97-98. This and other Fedorov actions like it I'm sure didn't endure him to his fellow players.

There was apparently some sort of consensus in the room that several people had major concerns about bringing Fedorov back to Detroit, and in all likelihood, the concerns were related to both Fedorov's on-ice performance and the substantial off-ice distractions that Fedorov faced during his later years as a Wing. Fedorov's 91 shouldn't be raised to the rafters.

The Wings don't need a third jersey. Maybe when attendance really fails or if the team goes into a funk again. That's when it should be done. Black jerseys suck balls. That said. I'd buy this coat set-up, but there's too much black. I won't buy it.

ESPN's past record speaks for itself. The four-letter treated the League like s***. Yes, the League needs more exposure, but it won't get it from the Mickey Mouse networks. The players, fans, others who do think that are wrong. Bars, hotels, cable companies, etc. that don't have Versus are in the dark ages. The pressure needs to be put on them to get Versus. A personal example: I stayed at a hotel recently and they didn't have Versus nor Fox Sports. I told hotel management they need to get it. It'll affect my future decisions in staying with that chain.

I agree an American or Canadian band should've been invited. Who knows may the League tried, but couldn't get anybody else. Anyway if Eliott did it on purpose, he's an ass. If not who cares. I mean he didn't s*** in the Cup like Draper's kid did. Oh and he didn't drop it like Chelios did.

Tonight was the first night I looked for the Game Summary since the re-design of NHL.com. Typically I like to keep track with the Game Summary while listening or watching the game. It was hard to find though. So if anybody else is looking for it, the screen shot below should help.

Hey I'm up here for tonight's game and staying until Sunday. Anybody want to get together for a LetsGoWings viewing party? Where would be a good place? I was thinking Hockeytown Cafe. Other suggestions appreciated.

Lame. I liked the Todd McFarlane designed ones better.

It's better than the baby-blue monstrosity, but that's not saying much. It looks too much like an American football jersey or basketball jersey with the number on the front, which I hate. The bird head is a decent logo, and in my opinion it's better than the Raven's logo. Still, I miss the Thrasher t-shaped logo.

Blood Feud is very good, Wings related, and very easy to read. Another one I really like is Boys of Winter. It's about the 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team.
