Please do a favor for me. Tell him NHL Fan Connect is jacked up from a navigation perspective. The old way was much easier to to click through etc. That's just the tip of the iceberg too.

Definitely laid out better, but there's too much black. NHL Fan Connect doesn't necessarily look better in my opinion, and it's definitely more cumbersome to navigate around there efficiently.

Speaking of fonts typefaces, does anybody know what the typeface is for the names during regular season? The typeface for the numbers? And finally the typeface for the Red Wings script?

I think it'd be cool if the Red Wings used the Gothic D style jersey as opposed to the Old English D ones. The organization used the candy-cane Detroit one once before; so I'd like to see something different. Though the one at jerseydatebase.com is bit different than the current away jersey, it's not radically different.

I thought the same two, but look at Kariya's photo. The NHL logo has disappeared! Gary Bettman won't be happy about that.

I won't be surprised, but I'll be very sad if he leaves the Red Wings organization.

Both have the tie-ups, and I'm not a fan of those since the new jerseys came out. The NHL "V" makes the tie-up superfluous.

The Blues' looks really sharp. I like it a lot. The Sabres' ... I'm not feeling it. The piping and the front number ruin it for me. The old logo is just ok, nothing great, but it's definitely better the the Buffaslug.

One flag, like in the front logo, is storm warning. http://www.weather.gov/om/marine/cwd.htm The subdued logo on the shoulder is cool, but it doesn't fit in well with the rest of jersey. After seeing the press conference photos, all I can say is way too much black.

The logo is cool in my opinion. It's all the blackness that kills it for me. Though black fits will with the Hurricanes, too many teams use it.

I might be prejudiced, but I thought it was a decent call. Wilson tried to pass him numerous times, and Helio blocked him, to the danger of both drivers in my opinion. So maybe that's why Helio didn't get a warning first. Helio's really earned my respect this season though. He has a great attitude win or lose, and it was exhibited again yesterday.

Pretty good race yesterday. To and from was really easy with the shuttles. Just wish I could've gotten there earlier. Bought a general admission ticket Saturday, and now I wish I would've bought a grandstand seat. Oh well there's always next year. Didn't get much to the Canadian side of the track, but from what I could tell between turns three and four was the place to be. That includes a Paddack pass, which I was able to scam.

The only new arena I been to that had any character at all was the ACC. I get Opie's argument. Though Nationwide is pretty decent. All the rest though are awful or in awful areas or both. The only complaint I have about the Joe is the bathroom facilities. If Foxtown, then no direct access to People Mover = Suckiness. New arenas segregate people, have poor sightlines, are antiseptic, are bland and are all pretty much the same. Basically, the only thing that differentiates them are the logos at center ice.

I had nothing but love seeing Jackie Chan singing. In my opinion he seemed to sing with more heart and enthusiasm than Sinatra.
