Ebay maybe?

Just a tad more. http://www.sportsline.com/mlb/teams/page/CHC

It's to help the Thrashers sell tickets. Oh and BTW, the schedule should come out tomorrow, not today. I didn't like the old schedule. This new one is OK, but I'd rather see home-and-homes for every team. They don't necessarily have to be a day or two apart either. Preferably I'd rather see them at least a month apart.

I'm thinking Mike Toth threw the race card to sell hits on the sportsnet.ca site.
-
Bought my two today.

This is a great match-up for the NHL, but I was also thinking Soldier Field might be better - certainly more fans could attend. It's a shame though that the Red Wings will lose their traditional New Year's Eve game but the Winter Classic should outweigh any cons in that regard. Detroit should wear the gothic D jerseys.
-
Seems like a bad move to me too. I can't think of anyone better who's also available.
-
Understand and agree, but teams have to work with what they got. Discrediting the Predators because their home arena is smaller is wrong.
-
I agree. I haven't seen one before or since that I've liked as well as I did his.
-
And your point is what? Percentage reflects better what teams can fill given arena limitations. http://www.sportsline.com/nhl/teams/page/NSH Arena: Sommet Center (17,113)

Nashville finished 21st in attendance by percentage. http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/attendance?s...t&year=2008 Five spots behind Detroit and ahead of Atlanta, Phoenix, St. Louis, NY Islanders, Washington, Boston, Chicago, Columbus and Florida. The Predators are fine where they are. Besides Gary Bettman will do anything to keep them where they are. Contraction won't happen either. The NHLPA will fight it, and the salary cap would drop.

Another good signing for the Wings. Kudos to Holland. I'm very happy with Conklin signing and prefer him over Kolzig.
-
Good news that he's staying. If he had left though that was good becuase it would've opened up opportunities for younger players.
-
Anchor doesn't do much for me either.
-
I'd love to see him back with the Wings, but I don't see how he'd fit into the organization right now. In any case, I'd rather see him back than Sundin in a Wings uniform.

Top three not necessarily in order. CANADIAN Guinness Hoegaarden I'll drink any Sam Adams too as long as it's not the Lager. All the other Sam Adams flavors are very tasty though. Yuengling is very good too, a good Pennsylvania brew. An Indiana brew I like a lot is Upland.

Can somebody sum that story up for me? Trying to watch that bored me to tears. I think I must have gotten about half-way through that then just gave up. It's no wonder I don't watch ESPN anymore.
-
Their arrogance. They have no humility about them. It's true of both cases that I mentioned as far as I can tell.
-
Not gonna get it. 1 It's not my cup of tea 2 It's pricey 3 I don't like this year's logo with the baby-blue pentagon at the bottom. The $25 shirt was enough for me.
-
The format in the NHL should give the better team more a of home-ice advantage. So in my opinion, it should be 2-2-3 with the better team having home-ice in games 1,2,5,6 and 7.
-
I posted that backwards. It should be, the only thing worse than California teams are Texas teams. Mostly it's the fans who make it so.
-
Boston! The only thing worse than Texas teams are California teams.
-
It's a shame you guys still read, listen and watch ESPN.

I'm here! Drove up from Indy and have a sweet room overlooking Hart Plaza.

GDT 2008 SCF Game 6 GDT: Red Wings 3, Penguins 2
auxlepli replied to aflac9262's topic in Hall of Fame
BTW, f*** NBC for not showing replays of the penalties that led to the Penguins goals. Until I see them, they remain phantom penalties. Oh and there should have been a tripping penalty against the Penguins in the final seconds.
