Depends on the asking price. I'd rather have Staios than Blake that's for sure.

If I recall correctly that's the stat Scotty Bowman looks at to determine how good a team is. The greater the differential the better the team.

That's what I was thinking when I saw the Ducks win tonight. Well there goes the losing streak. Selanne had an assist tonight too.

Wow, just yesterday it was Nashville instead of Phoenix in the eighth spot. The Predators are the team I'd like to see. Though I really hate that team. Columbus would be a good pick, but only because they've never made it to the playoffs. Doesn't really matter to me, but whichever team it is the Wings can't take them lightly.

If there's one thing the Wings to well it's develop players and pressure them unnecessarily. I doubt they'd rush McCarty back.

If he could make it to the NHL though, then the Wings wouldn't need to worry about a trade. He'd be exactly the kind of player the Wings need right now. Still it's a big IF.

I don't like trading Datsyuk for Selke would be a good idea. Selke seems washed up at this point.

McCarty might be able to make it back in time for the playoffs. It was 11 years ago so maybe the conditioning wasn't as good but Joey Kocur was in a beer league at Christmastime, but on the Wings championship team in 1997.

It seems anything written by the Canadian media eventually ties back to the Leafs. They must sit around and think of ways to do that. Just like the Wings do with their players I imagine they're doing the same thing with Yzerman in the management role, and that is bring them along slowly and give them time to develop.

Miracle on Ice. Everything else pales in comparison. That sent shockwaves around the world. Even ESPN, which everybody knows hates hockey, said it is the number one sports moment of the last century. Nothing in this one has come close.

I figure it's because of the regional contracts. Versus should show games on more nights. That's the way to go in my opinion. -
Getting Chris Gratton idea is about the best one I've heard. I sure to like saying Afinogenov though.

Most Super Bowls are boring in my opinion, I usually skip them. Except for the fourth quarter in tonight's, it was set to take the cake. Kudos to the Giants for knocking off previously unbeaten Patriots.

Blake is way overrated in my opinion. Before his injury the LA GM was asking for a player, a prospect and a pick. That's way too. I just wonder how much the asking price has dropped, if any.

I was thinking about this topic after last night's game too. It seems the only ones who appear in the game summary scoring are ZDH and Lidstrom. Wings are doing fine now, but they'll need a more rounded scoring balance come playoff time.

Hopefully this injury keeps him LA, and off the Detroit roster.
