Man I was really hoping for the Buffalo fans that the home team would win. Good game. I could really tell in the shootout how slow the puck was moving.

Those fans have got to be cold, but there still into the game. Very vocal.

The Crosby hype hasn't bothered me today. Usually this kind of stuff does though. Anyway it isn't Crosby's fault. I don't get all the animosity toward him. It's like people who hate a good song because it's overplayed. It's not the artist's fault. It's the DJ's and fans who want to hear the song all the time.

Miracle was a Disney movie. Disney owns ABC and ESPN so it would've surprised me had NBC picked that movie to highlight. When Miracle came out, it was the only time I really saw ESPN get behind hockey. ESPN helped market Miracle to no end.

I'm really disppointed with the Big Ten, which is now 2-3 in bowl games so far. Hopefully Illinois and Michigan can win today.

Jeremy88 I agree with you about American football. Though I find more excitement in the college game than the pro game. I think with college it's the pagentry, and band that draw me. There's no way NBC would let the players or anybody say Miracle was a good hockey movie.

The RBK Jersey commercial said I could get the new sweaters at Dicks. The Dicks closest to me doesn't have any hockey jerseys. I'm loving Doc Emerick's call. He's doing a very good job. He makes the game exciting to watch, and as a bonus he's a Hoosier.

Many have also said that had the team still been in Quebec City, there's no way the Canadiens trade Roy to that organization because there was a heated rivalry between those too teams.

Me too. Of all the places where I've attended Wings games, Nashville is the worst. Worse than Colorado. I posted something similar to this in another thread where a member here attended a game there the other night. It's pretty common to hear "Detroit sucks" or "Red Wings suck" at away games. Still Nashville is the worst.

Shots on Goal were really close again. This time 35-34 Wings. In the Avs game it was 29-24 Wings. Are the Wings missing Zetterberg, Maltby and Holmstrom in that regard?

The wheels have really fallen off the Wings. It's a shame too, because up until the first goal the Wings were dictating the play.
