Thanks the link. Last night Ken Kal mentioned all the ink the Hawks were receiving and particularly this article. It's good for the NHL since the they are in the third largest U.S. market.

Couldn't disagree with you more about the sight lines. I sat in the lower level too. You are right it is very antiseptic, and I'll add very dull and very boring too. Now that Continental Airlines Arena doesn't host NHL games anymore, the UC has moved to the very bottom of my list of NHL arenas.

The UNC - Pembroke Braves are allowed to keep its nickname because the school was started for Native Americans. I didn't do any research to verify that, but that's what the talking heads said.

I like that Babcock split them up, obviously after eight periods of not doing well against the Hawks, he needed to do something different.

You know the American football Cardinals were located in Chicago at one time, and they throughly beat the Lions today. Different sport but it doesn't bode well for the Wings if you're superstitious.
