I tried that before I posted, but didn't have much luck with that site.
-
Damnit! I didn't think about that.

I added one more site, that isn't listed in this thread. http://www.sportsline.com/nhl/teams/page/DET Also added Red Wings Central. I check them daily but don't open them all in tabs at once. It just takes too long. Anyway does anybody know of a site that compares a team's stats to another team's stats?

Two games is weak suspension. http://sports.myway.com/news/10292007/v3509.html A farce IMO. I'm disappointed with the League yet again, particularly Colin Campbell this time.

New Jersey's new arena looks pretty good. I'm happy to see white safety nets instead of the black ones.

Burnside chimes in with his two cents. http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/columns/stor...&id=3085130

Rafalksi is also younger than Schneider, so that's a plus. Not that age matters to players like Chelios, but he seems the exception rather than the norm.

Really it was Yzerman kissing LaPointe? I remember reading about, and IIRC I think I saw it in one of those blooper reels shown at games. Maybe it was even on ESPN. OMG that's awesome! It was LaPointe.

Well I just watched the highlights. I'm surprised Homer's goal wasn't called back. He was almost in the blue when he made the shot. Luongo definitely got undressed on the Wings' second goal. That goal was beautiful. Hudler's was too. That was an incredible shot. I'm surprised the NHL showed Vancouver's third goal. Looks like to me it could have gone either way. Was there an overhead shot of that play?

That explanation seems reasonable to me. Remember that time that Yzerman kissed Shanahan when they were on kiss cam? Aww man that was awesome.

Man I was in and out, as in sleep, in the last half of the third. Very happy the Wings won last night. I had a dream after the game that the Canucks scored and it went into OT. That was depressing.

Wow a never expected a Sox sweep!
-
I took these photos at Scottrade last year. The white nets are barely noticeable when looking at the ice.

WXYT is on iTunes, and the cool thing about that is you can also listen to the pre- and post-game shows.

I saw the highlights but it didn't stand out. I'll see tonight's highlights once they're posted to nhl.com. I'm scared though, I don't wanna see Luongo naked.
-
Luongo is as ugly as Borat, and I didn't want to see him undressed either. Glad I'm just listening to the game.

I'm surprised Homer's goal hasn't been called back.

That was a quick reply. It should be noted that the Canucks have won six of their last nine home games against the Red Wings.

Depends on the network covering it. HD cameras cost a lot money. Since networks are in the business of making money, the cameras might be cost prohibitive.

Awww man that's awesome! I laughed my ass off. Read that happened in the GDT, but didn't see it b/c I had turned of the Yahoo feed to listen to Kal and Woods. That's a good one. iLOL Thanks for the link BTW.

Is it that goal that somebody has as an avatar?
-
Is this on YouTube? I don't feel like downloading anything.

The f***in Flyers need to learn the rules of hockey and start abiding by them. He didn't get run, but it was a hit in the back, from behind. Maybe professional players need to wear stop signs too.

Here's a link to the original blog. http://puckstopshere.blogspot.com/ New nickname for the commissioner, Gary "Gimmick" Bettman

ESPN had an anti-NHL bias pre-lockout. ESPN dropped the NHL in its final year, and they had little interest in picking it up post-lockout. http://www.mediaweek.com/mw/search/article...t_id=1001016934 It works both ways. NHL might want to go back to ESPN, which according to Bettman rhetoric the League doesn't. Clearly the network has no interest in the League. With its other obligation it doesn't even have room for NHL games, and if it did, hockey games would be bumped. It's apparent to me this anti-NHL bias comes from the top down.
