Doesn't sound too bad, and I really hope it doesn't become worse. Still I'd rather see Ozzie tomorrow night, because of Hasek's 2.21 GAA and .887 save percentatge. It's only been three games, but those stats seem substandard for Hasek.

DetNews and Freep are a given because they're the local papers. So yeah I will keep those for sure. Spector is too much about the NHL and trade rumors. The Fox site looks good too. I really like the the two-week calendar up at the top, but I doubt I will go back since it's powered by MSN. I refuse to support Microsoft in any way.

I just checked that Viking link and thought it was funny, ironic or whatever that the last two were from the Wings. Anyway I'm just saying it's hard to compare the three positions objectively and quantitatively. I certainly couldn't do it. Not taking anything away from Zetterburg.

And Lidstrom received in 2005-2006. IDK ... Lidstrom is probably the best player in the League IMO. Seems to me forwards and goalies receive more press than defensemen. Anyway it's kinda hard comparing the three positions for best player in the whole League.

I agree all the teams are closer together competitively. Babcock has said as much too. "Today's an example of how it's going to be in the league. It's going to be tough every night. Parity from team to team is really there, so you'll have to compete, whether you're at home or on the road, and you're going to be scratching for points.''

Anybody buying this book today? It was just released today from what I understand. I can't find it online anywhere. Seems it would be released tomorrow, ninth day of October and all.

This is great! Daytime hockey is much better than sports talk radio with all its oblongball and baseball talk. I'm listening to the Sens-Devils game. Heatley just scored, his fourth goal of the season.

I like Red Wings Corner; that guy does a good job. Anyway this is the first I heard of a somewhat definite time frame. Like the secondary reports were just saying long-term injury. So I'm glad it's not longer, because I was envisioning months.

This sucks! I hate giving up a point to a division rival. Especially when the Wings were up by two and let the other team come back to tie it up. Very, very disappointing.

VLC rawks. I couldn't get WMP to work on my sisters PC when she wanted to play a DVD. Installed VLC and works like a charm. I have it on my Mac too. I thought you needed WMP to listen to the NHL Game Radio feed. An IT guy at NHL.com told me I needed Flip4Mac to listen to its radio feed.
