That reminds me ... if any of you who live in Michigan can get your hands on a Red Wings house key I'd pay you back. I looked for them when I was last up there, but couldn't find them. Oh and my favorite reaction is of the brunette in front. You can tell she's really into it.

This is the best thing I've found aboot ESPN in long, long time. It's another way to keep up with the Wings, or any team you choose. I found it a couple of weeks ago. It's customizable with different teams, etc. I would've chosen the Wings, but ESPN knows nothng aboot the Wings it seems and uses black, and that looks wrong to me. Thought about the Colts too, but seeing the Wings surrounded by blue was just wrong too. I need to e-mail ESPN to get the Wings set-up right.

Color me crazy, but I just can't get into pre-season hockey. Any sport for that matter.

Also if you want to know just aboot anything by the Wings that happening in the news you can use Google alerts. http://www.google.com/alerts?hl=en and type in Detroit Red Wings. It's pretty comprehensive. Every now and then I get something aboot the Rochester Red Wiings. If I'm not mistaken Yahoo has the samething. On my personalized iGoogle page I have a whole page devoted to hockey. This is just the top half.

ESPN treats the NHL poorly, and as such, even though it brings many more households, I'm highly skeptical that its treatment of the NHL would improve.

He should have had a Whiny Division and included Lindros, Yashin - at least he got one right IMO - and John Elway. Oh and I guess Eli Manning too, b/c he pulled the same stunt Elway did.

Remember how Bettman said everybody loved the division-heavy schedule? How the NHL didn't have stats to back up that fans wanted a more balanced schedule? Bettman is a liar. I think it's cool - literally and figuratively. LOL. I don't care what teams are involved. Sure I'd love to see the Wings involved in one of these. Any Canadian combo would be good too IMO. Leafs vs Sens or Habs vs Leafs would be my top two choices not involving the Wings. Great pub for the game regardless of teams involved. Aww man how cool would it be to have an NYE outdoor game!? That'd be awesome.

I'm more excited aboot the schedule changing next year. Illitch has been telling journalists it will happen without a doubt. So that's good. Anyway I'm all for the idea of expansion, but then I think aboot how bad those teams will be, and how it will dilute talent .... AGAIN .... those facts don't excite me.
