Generally, I think they're fine. If they're tight fitting just buy them bigger. As much as we ***** aboot the minutiae of hockey - from sweaters, to rules, to the commissioner, to tv coverage - it is still Hockey played by the best players in the world.

QFT! Also the Stars are probably my least favorite team so if they have the ugliest uniforms that's great IMO! That's what I meant aboot the I don't care post I made. The only time I pull for the Stars over another team is when it's beneficial for the Wings. Yes I even dislike them more than the Avs. I didn't realize that until just now, but yeah it's true. Here are my reasons why it's easy to hate the Stars. 1 - They should be in Minnesota 2 - They're in non-traditional hockey market 3 - Their uniforms have been crap since the move 4 - Hull's foot was in the crease 5 - They're in Texas 6 - They're in Dallas Now I''ll elaborate on the the last three points. 4 - Yes it was Hull but by damn it his foot was in the crease! This brings up another point that was made to me, and yes it's kinda X-Files thinking, but it seems to me, more often than not, that in SCF let's start in '99, traditional hockey markets have been hosed - Buffalo in '99, Flames in '04 and Oilers in '06. 5 - Apologies for anybody who lives or is from Texas, but Texans just have an attitude that grates on my nerves. That whole "Don't Mess with Texas" bulls*** is just that and it's annoying as hell. 6 - Again apologies in advance, but people form Dallas tend to exhibit the above attitude with greater ferocity than any other Texans. Plus too there's that whole association in my mind with Dallas' other winning team, the Cowboys, and I hate them too. Now I hate the the Broncos as well, especially b/c of whiny Elway, but at least the Avs play where it snows. So yeah I'm happy the Stars have ugly uniforms. Bring back the mooterus boys! Oh I guess I can give the Stars organization props on the billboards, but that's aboot it.

I wish they'd bring back the 66 logo. I voted for it today at that logo tourney thing. Right now it's only third.

One of my favorite memories of Chelios during his Red Wing tenure was the 2002 Olympics when Steve Yzerman got Shanahan, Cheli, and Hull together after the medal ceremony for a photo. That was awesome. As a s side note Yzerman, Shanahan and Ken Morrow are the only players to win an Olympic gold medal and Stanley Cup in the same year. That fact also has a Michigan tie-in - Yzerman and Shanahan played in Detroit that year, and Morrow was born Flint.

Sheesh! I HATE THAT PIPING THAT'S TAKEN OVER THE LEAGUE!! DAMNIT!!! I'M MAD AS HELL AND I'M NOT GONNA TAKE IT ANYMORE!!! Oh wait hockey is less than a month away? Nevermind ... At least the Wings didn't go the Pied Piping route. I still hate Atlanta's home jerseys. I feel sorry for Blue's fans, it looks like Blues adopted Atlanta's Carolina blue scheme - could be game graphics though. Dallas I don't care. Phoenix's home looks better than the away. Agreed.

The more I look at the Ducks and Avs jerseys the more I hate them. The piping on the Avs jersey is really distracting and annoying. Though the Avs jesey is still an improvement over last year's model, but not much. The shirtale on the Ducks jersey is awful. I hate the asymmetricness of it.

Avs' looks OK, Sabres' not so much, the Ducks' sucks, but that's mostly becuase it's logoless and black. Not big fan of the Avs' sleeves. And do the Sabres have silver on there now? If so, I don't like that, but hell at least they don't have the numbers on there anymore. One trend I don't like is the piping that comes inward around the arm pits. Most teams' jerseys seem to have the sleeves jacked up too.

WTF is the McDonald's logo doing on the front of the away jersey? I don't like either as much as the one posted earllier. I also don't like the away logo.

I love it! It's almost too white and not enough blue, but it's pretty awesome IMO.

All the Canadian teams are still wining except the Sens. In the third round I'm voting for the Sens over the Flyers, Avs over the Oilers, Blues over the Canucks, and the Canadiens over the Devils.

I am continuing to vote. I'm surprised the Senators logo is losing to the Flyers.

Voted no effect, but I feel if it's eliminated more cheap shotswould occur against good players. I was first a fan of Olympic hockey, and there's no fighting there. Weird that the NHL can't be the same.

Just OK, IMO. First of all it's really busy with the piping, multi-colored sleeves, multi-colored shirttale, and the warning flags at the bottom. Sometimes less is more.

QFT! I've been meaning to post something like this along the same lines, but kept forgetting. Thanks for picking up my slack. It's one reason why I was trying to be objective as possible when I voted. I'd hoped other hockey fans would be the same, but it doesn't look like it's happening.

They look great to me. I'm digging the home jersey way more than the away one.

Not bad. The main problems I have with them are the team name and logo. If the Stars should be in Minnesota, then the Flames should be in Atlanta. Did Sherman burn down Calgary too? At least the Stars are in the Lone Star State. Also the more I think about it, I'm not a big fan of the flags. The Alberta one is OK, but I don't like the Canada one being on there.

Still more than 200 votes down. This is damn depressing. To add to the misery the Avs beat the Wild. Today voted for the 1996 Sabres logo. The old one is so two dimensional.

Until I read the post I thought it was OC and was for the Orange County Flames! iLOL Anyway not bad, but kinda busy. Much like Canucks and Stars I wish they'd change team names, and I've never been a fan of the hairy C.

OK shot, but it's damn depressing to see anything related to that series IMO.

I don't like those at all! I hate number on the front for hockey jersey. Jesus! That's part of what makes hockey jerseys so cool is that they have logos on the front instead of numbers like basketball and American football. That dark Dallas one looks straight up like a long-sleeve basketball jersey. Damnit! I hate this new trend of numbers on the front. Damn the Sabres to hell for starting it! My friend who's a huge American football fan won't buy football jerseys. He's like "Why would I do that? They just have big numbers on them. Hockey jerseys are much cooler!" That's from an American football fan folks a potential crossover fan. Take away hockey's uniqueness and not only do you lose old fans you might lose new ones too because it's like every other sport out there. Anyway I like these jerseys much better.

That may be. How do you think non-hockey fans will take them? Some I imagine will take them "hell they're taking swipes at our sport, let's get them back." In fact that's already happened. I posted the Nancy one on another board and immediately they started defending the NFL and attacking hockey. Soon I bet they'll appear on ESPN tv and radio shows like Sportscenter and Mike & Mike and more attacks will come. I'm just sayin.
