Right now ... I'd rather see Guerin in a Wings uniform than Bertuzzi. The main reason Guerin's health seems better. He was way too expensive too. That said, Bertuzzi is a better fit for the Wings, and a healthy Bertuzzi is way better than a healthy Guerin IMO.

My sentiment exactly. I worry about Bertuzzi health more than Forsberg's. That said I've always liked Bert, even when he was with Vancouver.

Not bad. Kinda looks Avish to me. Also with this one and the Canucks one there is one trend I don't like. The white parts on the inside of the sleeves of the Caps one, it looks like Mickey Mouse ears. Can't remember the color of the Canucks ones, but it had Mickey Mouse ears too.

From an purely aesthetic point of view, forget my love of the Red Wings, Detroit has not only the best sweaters in the League, but also the the best logo. Period! If the Wings chose to change either in any way iI will be so disappointed with the organization.

To me it's a good trade for Atlanta. It would've been a bad one for the Wings. IMO the Wings don't need Tkachuk. The Thrashers NEEDED him.

Red Wings reclaim top spot in the West. They've played fewer games than the Predators, which is the first tie-breaker since both have 84 points.

LOL You guys are funny. I think he's still trying to get comfortable with his new teammates. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if you guys are right, and he's hiding an injury. Or for whatever reason he's a non-factor with the Preds. Hey and BTW doesn't Preds kinda sound like some processed food or something? Or maybe dog food? Preds is just a weird name to me. What do you guys and gals think?

Have you seen the hour-long HBO documentary? OMG! It is so awesome! There's a point where Craig Patrick is being interviewed. He chokes up and tears well in his eyes. That's just one point where I do the same. I love those guys. In a totally heterosexual type way. Oh also check out the book, Boys of Winter. I've read it twice. Great book.

I know what you mean. I've been to two games this season - NYE, which was rockin, and the #19 Retirement Ceremony game, which was pretty much lifeless. So yeah, that's my experience FWIW.

Not even close IMO. What I do like about it is that Ovechkin stayed with the puck and put it on net. There's a lesson to be learned there. As Gretzky said, "You miss 100% of the shots you never take."
