DIEHARD FAN HUH.I used to go to games at the old Olyimpia stadium on Grandriver back before helmets and pads.I've been a hockey junkie all my life.But hey I,m not bragging. When the internet came allong it made things more interesting and fun,I love it when we can all get to gether and tell our stories,it's great and we should not abuse it or each other.

Oh yes we do,go to any other team board and say your a Red Wing fan and watch what happens. This is the best site I know of where everyone from any team is wellcome without ,your team sucks attitude.I loveLGW IT'S WHERE PEOPLE CAN TALK HOCKEY WITHOUT ALL THE CARBAGE.(sorry about the caps)I must say I do want to say some things sometime when a person comes here and says things that are not true.I don't like it when our team is accused of being the NHL'S pick to go to the finals without being a team that has fought to be there.

My friend that was not a cheap hit,that was atempted murder.Pronger wanted to take Hommer out of the game no matter what .That kind of s*** needs to be elimanated from this sport all together. The Ducks are a fine team who can play a good game of hockey.There was no need for that,I don't care what the score or anything else was.That made the Ducks look desperit.And it made Pronger look like the dirty player that he is.

I perdict that the Red Wings get at least one 5 on 5 goal,and control the play all night. Puck handeling is key for the Wings,no turn overs.

For one thing I don't see anyone making excuses.The Red Wings can play as well as any team injured and us fans know it.Some of you Duck fans are just 12 year old trouble makers. who have nothing better to do then to get on another teams board and spew your little minds out. Even if the Wing lose(which they wont)they will give the Ducks a vr hard way to go,they wont die easy like the Ducks did in 2004.You remember that year,they did'nt make the playoffs after that great run in 2003.That what makes great hockey clubs like the Wings stand out,and others look like they really are one time wonders.You know what I mean son.

Thank you,my point exactlly.The Sharks were supposed to get rid of the Wings. Thats why I never take to heart what the so called experts say.If you ask me they know as much as anyone of us do.I say the Wings are gonna open up some whoop ass on them Ducks..

Believe me my Duck friend,the Wings have a game they hav'nt played yet for some reason.The Red Wings can get in this mode where they just cruse through the other team no matter how good that team is.I love this Wings team's never quit attitude this playoffs.They have beat a shark team they were not supposed to beat and they are giving the Ducks(who are suppoed to eat them alive)fits.And Pronger I do believe we litterally killed him once when he played for the Blues.I believe it was a slap shot from the point by Shanahan that stoped his heart.Pronger is just a big goun who will be taught another lesson by the Red Wings.

Iwas reading the B S board the other day before the start of their series with the Sens and they was allready picking who the were going to play in the finals.Well needless to say that they jumped the gun maybe.I know they still have a lot of hockey to play but their in bad shap losing two at home.Now they have to face the Sens at home. I say that Dom is not looking past the Ducks at all,I know I'm not.

Did u mean go away Ducks?lol It will be a great game .We will see some good hockey from two great hockey teams but the Wings will come out on top. I wonder if Jiggy likes pepper,cause he's gonna get a lot of it tonight Hot diggity.

Hey calm down the Wings have this all figgured out. Score tonight WINGS-100 DUCKS-0 Wings would have scored 200 but wanted to save some for the next three games. I know the Ducks will come on strong and the Wings WILL weather the storm and come out on top. GO WINGS

Boy O boy these guy's has got to be da bestest hockey fans i has heard from yet. Well the Wings will handle the Ducks,and we can handel you all you funny guy's you. As for that last line on the previous post,I hope homey eats lots a beans before he sticks his butt in JS'S face.

It sounds as if we all had the same feelings going into the playoffs.Not me though,I alway's knew the Wings would make it this far well maybe.I do believe now and the Ducks are just one more team that is supposed to be better,we'll see.

If I remember corectlly,the Sharks was supposed to be even better than the Ducks when we first came to play them.What happened sinse then did the Ducks get better.This Red Wing team is not the same one the Ducks shut down a few years back and swept.NO NO NO this Red Wing team is hungry and very aggresive.Alot of us Wings fans knew when the Sharks and their fans was talking chit that they knew nothing of what was coming,and now it seems netheir do you guy's. Lets just hope for a good series and have fun no matter what t6he out come.Cause if the Wings win I WILL NOT say I told you so,cause u probablly wont be around to hear it.

It's so funny how these little teams that barly exsist talk about how big and bad they are.While there talkimg about how big they are and how much their going to smash the little Red Wings the Wings are scoring goals.Go ahead and talk ,just like the little sharks did and when it's all said and done you can cry.

And I'm sure I'm not the only one who felt like this at the beginning of this series.I didn't give the Wigs much of a chanch against a big ,fast and hungry Sharks team.I didn't take in mind what EXPERIANCE brings to the game. I heard all the hype about how the Sharks would beat the Wings into submission,and when it started to look like the Wings where going to hold their own I started to believe that they could do it with some grit and some blood and sweat.It has turned out real well for the Boy's in Red. Don't get me wrong,I am not counting the Sharks out by no means they are a very good team and I have the utt most respect for them. All I want to know is who else felt this way in the beginning. I agree,but if they come out hitting and throwing them selves all over the place instead of playing smart hockey the Wings will make them pay.They are like traped rats though and that can be scary.

IF we lose game 6we will win game seven.Thats if the Sharks don't get upset and start hitting instead of playing hockey.In that case it's over for them by golly.

Man I never said this series was over ,by no means do I believe that.I have been a Red Wings (hockey) fan for 45 years,I never say its over till it's over. I did say I respect the Sharks and I don't believe that they will lose their cool in game 6,we will have to fight for a win come game time.

I do believe the Wings have rattled their cage and have them fustrated ,WINGS IN 6.

If you go over and read the Sharks board they lost the game ,the Wings did'nt win it.The way they talk the Wings did nothing to win,it was just the Sharks made mistakes.I'll say they made a mistake,they took the Red Wings litelly. The Wings look very good even when they lose to this mighty Sharks team that is supposed to sweep every team they play(I guess) I like the Sharks and I watched all their games so far,But they are a little big headed about them selves.

Yeah Malts would be a good canidate for a strong game,so would Homer.I love the hits and junk he takes in front of the opposing net minder.,go get'em Hommer.

I got that loud and clear.The sharks board is no place for me anyway,I m a Red Wing fan and I do like talking hockey.I have not been on any board for quit a while and I am sorry if this is a double thread,forgive my ignorance. I believe the Wings played a very good game,Lots of enrgy and smart moves.I know that the Sharks made some mistakes last night that helped us win but that goes both ways.What about the first game,both goals came on Red Wing mistakes.I believe it was the third game when Hosek was out of the gaol playing the puck and gave them an easy one.It is'njt only the Sharks giving up mistakes so they need to give our boys some kind of credit for what they do.

Hey thanks for the kind words.I have not been on LGW in a long time,I have been so busy that I never even get a chance to read the post anymore.I guess thats what u get when u start your own business. I am really impressed with all the fans who come here no matter what team their with. As u see I am a Jiri Fisher fan,and that alone shows How long I've been gone.But I am glad to be back. Wings look good I think this team is hungry,have'nt seem them this way for a long time.
