Speaking of sucky broadcasts, did you folks in the Detroit area get any kind of Wings post game show tonight? Up north here, they switched right to some other crap on FSN, and I never got to hear what kind of lame excuses Babcock came up with. Usually he sounds like the past ten Lions coaches after these losses, with gems such as, "We just can't do these things if we expect to win games," (usually said right after the Wings have just done those things for the umpteenth time this season. Question: How many losses did the Wings have in that record setting regular season they had several years ago? I think that was a year they didn't win the cup.

Damn, I just so much hate games like this. It sure would be a lot easier if I could, for just once in my life, go to a job that I love on Monday morning. But now I've got the double whammy - being depressed by watching our millionaire prima donas play with half effort, and being depressed by having to go back to a classroom full of juvenile delinquints tomorrow. Maybe I should take up drinking.

Yeah, then when Manny gets hurt by somebody running him in the playoffs (which the wuss Wings would not avenge) then Howard can play goal, and pass the puck right to the opponent for a goal with one minute left in the game, just like Ozzie did against, I beleive, the Sharks? Maybe that crucial playoff screw-up by Ozzie back before he started shaving is the basis for so many being uneasy with him in goal. I'd just like to know how many times we've been beaten by backup goaltenders? It's got to be a lot of times. Our guys just always seem to let up when the starting goalie is not in. But I guess that would be too much of an adjustment to expect from millionaires!

I'm glad I don't attend games like this, because then I'd be torn between whether to escape from all the bulls**t early, or wait until the end just so I could give this bunch of assclowns the booooing that they so well deserve. And to those of you at the Joe, why don't I hear more booing when these millionaires stink up the place? This is not what they are paind millions of dollars to do, and you know damned well that you'd be canned quickly if you sucked that badly. I firmly believe that professional athletes should be fined by the team owners when they perform this bad, or even worse, quit completely after playing well. Babcock is a joke. He was supposed to be so damned tough, but he won't even give the refs s**t when they so richly deserve it. I don't think the players fear him any more than they did Lewis, who wrote the book on how to coach like a wuss. I laugh at those of you who think the Wings are going to be pissed by this and play harder next game. I'm sure Shanny (did he even play tonight?) is going to be pissed!! He probably reacted to this game by saying, "Oh shucks, it didn't go our way tonight - pity. I think I'll go home and play with the twins, and then go on the internet to make sure my bank balance has this weeks $100,000 deposit. Can the NHL fine broadcast announcers for criticizing? Seems like Mickey is holding back for some reason. If I were Mike Illich, I gladly pay any fine for anyone in the organization who tells it like it is. Just once I'd like to hear Budd Lynch say, "Detroit penalty on number 96, Thomas Holmstrom, for, can you believe this, roughing."

Why the hell don't our opponents just START their scrub goalies when they play us - we'd probably get shut out every game!! I know this isn't PC, but this is when I wish we had a goon to at least get the team fired up by boarding someone or kicking someone's butt.

Great - noe f**king Datsyuk is gonna try to win the game all by himself!!! Give credit to Tippett - he knows what to do to get his team fired up, which is more than i can say for some other coach whose name rhymes with suckc**k.

What a bulls**t call on Homer. Yet, whenever he gets crosschecked into the goal post on a PP, THAT's never a penalty. Now, to open the floodgates, do you think the Wings would get some extra jump like Dallas if Babcock makes a goalie change?
