What a disappointing show from the Wings. I'm more upset by the non call when Smith got high sticked in the face and the sloppy play that lead to Handzus goal than the seemingly weak penalty shot call. I think Tootoo should get a shot next game. He is our only answer to Bickell. -

I believe Roszival fell on it. No penalty in my opinion.

I hope he leaves. He is not going to sign a contract for his true value, which I think he has shown is nomore than $ 3.5M. Absolutely horrible performance this season.

No it is ******* Filppula's fault. Awful play that gave the Ducks momentum. Totally unforced. -
Why are the Ducks allowed to crash the crease? Where is the defense? The Ducks should not be that close to the net and certainly not be allowed to take a pass in that area. Has nothing to do with Howard.

I blame Brunner. His mistake hurt us more than Abdelkader's penalty. Down one after the penalty was not too bad, but then Brunner goes and cough's it up and it is downhill from there. -

this team could not score last playoffs either, so there's more to it than bad break out passing. The scoring is simply not good. I hope it will turn around with this win but I'm not holding my breath. -

A chance at the first pick? You must not care that much about the playoffs then because that's a very slim shot. -
First goal was definitely on Ericsson. It was he that mishandled the puck that was poke checked by Begin via Howard's skates. He should have been more careful. Second is on Howard although he was abandoned by his teammates.

Me too. Even if he would improve, I dont ever think he is going to be a $5M player. I'm tired of seeing him trying to deke three players and spin around inside the offensive blueline. Trade him at the draft and spend the money elsewhere. Jarnkrok or Nyqvist can have his spot.

If you have been a fan for many decades it is only natural that this team has very little in common with the team you used to cheer. That can be disappointing I guess.

I watched a tape of top 10 highlight goals back in the early 90s and some guy with a cool sounding name scored the # 3 and # 1 highlight goals on the list so I became a fan of him and the team. The player's name was Steve Yzerman.
