This is the dumbest thing I've wasted 10 seconds of my life on reading. Teams are getting better??? The Wings have the longest active playoff appearance streak in the last 20 yrs and 4 cups to go with it. What do the teams that are getting better have to show??? The Drake one reminds me of how hard he played during the playoffs, he wanted it so bad that his determination pushed everyone else. You're a true red wings fan if the vladdy commercial makes you cry like a 5 yr old.

being in the military i run into allot of people from all over the states, rarely any of them know who cindy crosby is, but you bring up hockey and the first thing they say is "Detroit Red Wings"... its like a household name...i'd have to say that the ratings are up due to the wings in the playoffs not cindy...

i think drake is an experienced veteran and thats what makes him better in the playoffs, it also might be the style of hockey he is made for. also drake is at the end of his career, he wants to taste the cheapest champagne served in hockeys most cherished chalice

drake's hit was awesome, almost as good as kronner. i love how the camera follows the puck and as it's moving you see a red comet fly across and white jersey flying.... priceless

how in the hell can you justify giving ozzie a suspension, he stuck out his stick and dumb ass skated into it, ozzie did not skate into riberio's stick. also it looked like that s*** bag was going to take a run at lids, turco has been doing the same s*** the whole game and would have done the same if one of our guys was taking a run at modano....and Ott is a idiot for going after drapes knowing that he won't fight, pick on a fighter like mac or lilja or drake, not drapes...

first of all, the only reason Cherry is on tv is because of his shock value. People tune in to watch his ridiculous suit and hope he says something stupid and insulting. Remember the stir he caused when he insulted players that wore visors. second, the term "redneck" has nothing to do with blue collar workers nor farmers that got the back of the necks burned from working in the hot sun. Term redneck comes from The West Virginia Coal Miners March or the Battle of Blair Mountain when coal miners wore red bandanas around their necks to identify themselves as seeking the opportunity to unionize. and third, just because they are "blue collar" workers, still doesn't give him the right to use derogatory term. its like if he covered NBA games and called the pistons fans ni##ers. He should be insulting his tailor not the red wings fan base...

All i've been hearing the last 2 games is "if Peter Forsberg was playing the avs would....". F@#$ing enough already. Since game one all i've heard is the announcers kissing Forsbergs a$$. He is not that great, the only thing he's got going for him is his past achievments. I just hate the big name band wagon, same as salanne and niedermyer, they didn't do $hit this post season... Sorry, just had to vent...
