Tucker is the last sort of guy we need... smallish guy who'd start stuff that absolutely no one on our roster could finish.

the Leafs should go all out and try to hire Bryan Murray. that guy builds teams that win. he can't coach a lick though. Not sure what Bowman would accomplish in TO. with his well-known penchant for vets, not sure if the Leafs simply have enough assets and time to trade.

the only way big Mac ends up back in Detroit this season is if some multiplayer trade leaves us short a role player or two...

Yzerman, Zetterberg and Datsyuk will eat up much of whatever cap space is left. Maybe Dandenault is the odd man out. Being an RFA, his rights might fetch something significant... from lets say Montreal?

I'm curious, what is Bertuzzi's contract status? will he be a buyout candidate?

so what if he's fast... do the Wings desperately need that utility 7th defenceman? If MD is indeed a UFA then he's as good as gone. Les Canadiens would gobble him up in a heartbeat.
