Really, the only good things about him; he's good positioinally, and he has a calm demeanor. Other than that, he's absolutely terrible. He may be better on our team (who wouldn't), but he ain't winning a cup, that's for sure. I'd rather have John Graham than Raycroft.

Putting Z on any line except for a line that consists of Datsyuk, Holtstrom and himself is wasting his talent, don't you think? What can you do, put him with Maltby and Kopecky? You can hate it, but Cleary, Sammy and Hudler is the best 2nd line talent we've got. Putting Sammy on the 3rd or 4th line is also a waste of Sammy's talent, so really he belongs on the 2nd line or not playing at all. And tbh, Sammy isn't terrible, the guy can play a little. And on a team that tends to be pass-happy, it's nice to have someone who likes to shoot.

Toronto actually tendered Zetterberg an offer sheet and he declined. I believe they offered somewhere between 1 and 2 million after his 1st or 2nd year.
