it's not just the TV/radio stations either. I live in Toronto, and everyone hates the Wings. And I mean, hate. Even people that aren't Leaf fans. I never hear anyone talk about any other American hockey team with such disdain.

Wings fans are arrogant? How about everyone on every board, AND every sports TV and/or radio station had both Calgary and SJ wiping us in 4 or 5 games. Now, those same people are calling for a Anaheim Ducks sweep. Please, oh, please. Wings fans know too well about playoff disappointment to be cocky. I'd say everyone BUT Wings fans have been cocky this playoff season, but thx.

While SJ did fleece Boston on the Thorton deal. I must say, I'd rather have Priessing then Mark Bell. Horrible trade.

I like what Babcock had to say today on HockeyCentral. It really doesn't matter who scores, just win. We have enough guys on every line that can dominate. So everyone needs to dominate, and we will win.

We had no business tying that game. That being said, we played well enough to win. But the Sharks made key mistakes that helped them lose.

Unless we play are best, toughest hockey and still lose then no we cannot panic. The SJ Sharks are good, but so are we. We just need to play up-tempo Red Wings hockey, and we win. I have faith, we WILL WIN.

No, not worried. I REALLY, REALLY believe, that when on our Game, we are clearly the best team in the league. The problem has been "intesity". So far that has not been a problem this playoffs. We shall see. -

I think Columbus & Chicago are pretty comparable to LA & Pheonix (they actually combined for 9 less points). St. Louis is not as good as Dallas, but I don't think the dropoff is that much. Also, it's not like we had a tough time with the Pacific, going 13-6-1. If you scale that to 32 games, you get 21-10-1, compared to our 22-4-6 record against the Central. That being said, SJ should be favored in this series. Hopefully, we (the Underdog) can win regardless.

I stayed up. I was very happy to see Franzen score too... Flames are a decent team, I just think they didn't have an identity. They are not the team they were in 2004. They need that identity back.

Man, does everyone HATE the wings? Personally, I think Dallas IS going to WIN tonite, but hopefully we meet up with the Sharks at some point. Would love their fans to eat some crow. To me, it looks like they are afraid of the Ducks.... I believe the Wings can beat all the teams left, Sens would be the toughest matchup IMO.
