Yeah, thanks. Seems like it was all kept at a little higher level than in the past. For me, it's about good hockey. At the end of the day, regardless of the opponent, hockey fans gotta stick together and stick up for their sport....especially if you're in a so-called "non-traditional market." As far as Tootoo is concerned (this might be disputed by some), I think he is really trying to become a more well-rounded hockey player. Tough to live down a reputation. Time will tell if he can do it.

Agree about Nashville's natural rivals in the Southeast. Even pre-season games with Atlanta get heated from the get-go. I really like the division you have the Wings in. Some very interesting matchups there. Great hockey cities belong together like that.

It all evens out. I suppose the difference is when certain games fall on the schedule. Blue Jackets game tonight was a "trap" game. Would've been easy for the Predators to be looking ahead to Tuesday and Wednesday. The game was a snoozer.

Bert might knock Tootoo on his azz. And Tootoo would understand that it's just hockey. I would say Tootoo expects no favors and likewise he gives none.

Then there was the ever popular, Maxeem Kutsnutsoff.

Fisch got him back pretty good, though, as I recall. The legendary BLOODY NOSE. Seems like that might be all evened up by now. Kinda' fun to dredge it up every now and then, though. Gets those 7th and 8th grade minds all feverish and pissed off all over again. Oh and hey, I'd like to have someone post that long list of goalies Hartnell's injured. Must be awful. Surprised he hasn't been banned from the league. Seems like every night he's putting some goalie out of a game. Gets monotonous watching them carry those Hartnell-injured goalies off the ice. I heard they're putting in special handicapped seating in all NHL rinks so they can wheel in all the netminders that Hartnell has disabled.

BJ's dominated the 3rd and the OT. Deserved a better fate. Preds stole 2 this time. Mason kept the Preds in.

J4J I couldn't agree with you more. There is a long way to go. Lots of great hockey left. 5th
