The Blues announcers are un-listenable, particularly the lead guy who used to be the Avalanche announcer, I think. Mind-numbing!

Eloquent as always. Well done. And, of course, Rinne is overrated. And yes, the Ducks scored a ton of goals. You did think that was a ton, right? Perhaps, to a lightweight, everything seems like a ton.

Thanks, Hockeytown. Some Preds fans may not want to hear this, but it was Wings fans that helped fill our barn in the early days of the franchise. And, there were a lot of winged wheels in the arena when keeping the franchise in Nashville was touch and go. Personally, I've learned a lot of hockey from true, knowledgeable Wings fans. I appreciate that.

Would love to see the Wings destroy Anaheim - and that'll happen. As for the Preds making it - too many things have to fall their way, most of which is out of their control. Scrappy-ass bunch, but just not in the cards this year. -

Hey, the Wings will be there when it counts. Can be tough to come down here the day of the game, play a so-so team, then head for the airport to get to Denver. That's a recipe for somebody sneaking up on you - like tonight. Go beat the Crapalanche.

It was just one of those deals where the game just happened to end before the inevitable tying goal went in. Preds hustled but HAVE to play that way every time to get a win - and hopefully catch the power teams napping. There is absolutely no margin for error with this bunch.

True. Ellis was just interviewed and gave major props to the Wings, as it should be. All the Preds players do - even if the fans don't always. We're just trying to get by down here. Just trying to win one now and then. Tonight just happened to be one of 'em.

Don't you just hate it when you have to explain a joke?! Sort of ruins the spontaneous laughter that might normally ensue..... Toots at the drive-up: "Yeah, could you supersize that whale gonad and fish gut combo, please?"

Thanks. That's very gracious. As a Preds fan first, I've been here since '03 and always appreciate the hospitality I've received from Detroit fans. Lets Go Wings!
