Oh this is terrible news. What a loss. It need not be said but Michigan you need to win this one for Bo tomorrow. RIP Bo. I hope we make you proud tomorrow.

The Lord works in mysterious ways.

Yea because Woody was the definition of an angel.

Indiana and their scrambling QB Lewis managed a whopping 165 yards of offense last week. Of course Smith and Lewis are on different levels, but you can't say Michigan has shown time and time again that they can't stop a running quarterback.

Amen. Whatever happens, happens. Let's just get to it.

I recently went to my old high school's football game. All they did was run, it was so painfully boring that I don't know how people could stand to watch football before the forward pass was invented. On a side note, my high school's fight song is the OSU fight song and our colors are blue and gold. I will never get used to cheerleaders screaming 'GO BLUE!' while that vile song plays at the same time.

Yes, we can all agree on that note. Tell you what HTRW, we'll beat you and you can go beat Notre Dame for all us Big Ten fans in the Rose Bowl. How's that sound?

I've had a bad experience with fellow Michigan fans at a game, every team has their stupid, drunken fans. The terrorist comment was said in jest and shouldn't be taken as anything more.

http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/news;_ylt=Al...e&type=lgns Article on tickets for the game. Figured I'd post it up as it had some ticket scam information for any who may be looking on ebay. At the bottom of the article they also talk about some Michigan fans who haven't pursued getting tickets because of things that have happened to UM fans in the past. Nice.

LoL! It's a homer comment but you gotta love it.

That's what I thought, too. But I mean it's illegal for them to come down and carry out their police duties so either they worked something out or they're just there as support for the fans. Many UM fans I've talked to described how the Columbus police just don't give a s*** about what happens to Michigan fans' property. One guy had his car almost tipped over and the officers they tried to talk to just told them they shouldn't have driven a car with Michigan stuff to Ohio. The e-mail said to call them for non-emergency situations. Maybe that gives some insight as to what role they'll play at the game. Manny, what time is Cold Pizza on? I stopped watching after two of the hosts talked about how much they liked OSU more than Michigan a couple weeks ago.

Ohio State fans needed a warning letter to visiting Michigan fans apparently. Letter sent to UM students: We know that it can be uncomfortable being in an opposing team's environment, especially when the stakes are so high. We would like to offer a few suggestions in order to help you stay safe and have a positive experience this weekend: --Try carpooling to the game; if possible, drive a car with non- Michigan license plates. --Keep your Michigan gear to a minimum, or wait until you are inside the stadium to display it. --Stay with a group. --Know and obey the laws regarding alcohol use. --If you are of legal age to drink, use alcohol in moderation. Stay in the blue. --Stay low-key; don't draw unnecessary attention to yourself. --If verbally harrassed by opposing fans, don't take the bait. --Avoid High Street in Columbus. If at any time you feel unsafe, you should call 9-1-1 for assistance. U-M campus police also will be available in Columbus to support our fans. You may call them with non-emergency concerns at (734) 216-9159. We look forward to a tremendous game on Saturday. Let's help the Wolverines win with spirit and class.

My mom went to Michigan and I started watching Michigan football when I was five. I've always cheered for them and I always will, however all my other Michigan family members either went to MSU or are in some way affiliated with MSU (they're all from Lansing). My grandfather was even head engineer overseeing construction of Spartan Stadium and has a complete scale model of the stadium in his basement. I always tell him he built a heck of a place for Michigan to come in and disappoint Spartans fans. I basically root for MSU every week they don't play Michigan. Edit: Spelling

I can confidently say that if by the grace of God that if Michigan wins, it will be the happiest day of my 21 year old life. I am so nervous and it's 6 days before the game. The anticipation is killing me.
-
Agreed, but only if The Game is close.
-
WHAT ARE YOU DOING MICHIGAN?!?!?!?!?!?!
-
Agreed, most Michigan fans would agree that Breaston hasn't played well recently. Also, Michigan will have to play as close to perfection as possible to beat OSU this year. Two, three, four drops a game will not cut it at all against OSU. Let's hope this week's scrimmage helps rekindle Michigan's offense.
-
Probably ever.

And to think just 3 years ago the Tigers lost 119 games. I wish my team, the Orioles, had a committed front office like the Tigers.

You're talking crazy Hockeytown. Finally Sparty shows some heart.

If there's one team I cannot stand.....

Miami's reputation is a big reason why I love Santana Moss. He can make some great plays and afterwards what does he do? He shuts the hell up and goes back to the huddle. So rare to see that from a Miami U product. Teams like Miami make me proud that Michigan has had so few incidents, on and off the field. I'd rather have a 9-3 team with a great reputation than to win with a bunch of thug players. -
Not so sure you can beat men anymore huh? Please just go away Mr. Tyson.
-
Now I'm in Virginia and I can't watch most of the Wings games but I really don't understand all the Lang bashing. He had 2 points tonight, and has been almost a point a game since coming to the Wings. Is that really all that horrible?

I had a great time at the Michigan game this weekend. My mom got alumni seats and we were 7 rows away from the field. Here are some pictures from the game.
