Considering it should have been Michigan in that game, not Iowa, I don't feel much sympathy. especially the way Michigan was jobbed by the backyard refs in the Alamo.

Then you must have been born after 1984! The Wolverines went 6-6 that year and it's the last time they went unranked at the end of the season (pending this year). So that would make this the second worst season in my lifetime. Actually if you put it into perspective, yeah it was a horrible season, but Michigan is 348-100-8 in my lifetime for an average of 9.2-2.6-.2 Pretty damn impressive. We have never missed a bowl game during my lifetime either! I'm OK with having a mediocre season occasionally - all teams go through it. Ask the Buckeyes and Spartans about it. Michigan will be OK - they've stood the test of time. Look at Nebraska - they've had several very down years and now seem to be coming back up the ladder - happens to everyone. Yep, I'm 20, born in 1985. I think we've all become aware of how spoiled Michigan fans are this year, this is a HORRIBLE season for them and they still finished with a winning record. Pack it up and come back with a chip on your shoulder next year boys!

This is the first time in my life that Michigan has had 5 losses...and there's nothing to be done about it for 8 months...This is a difficult pill to swallow to say the least. I still love them whole heartedly though.

Not to mention the fact that one of the commentators played four years of football at OHIO STATE. When an OSU quarterback is making WTF type comments on Michigan's behalf, that right there should be enough to raise questions on the integrity of the reffing.

I don't mind losing, but losing because the Sun Bowl refs have no idea what they're doing is bulls**t. One of the worst games I've ever had to watch in my 15 years of being a Wolverine fan...I am utterly disgusted.

who jinxed whom? Eva.....by starting this topic I was probably the only Michigan fan on this or any other medium I converse on that has held out Big Ten title hope all season. And My post simply said it was possible. I did not even suggest that it was likely. I would be #2 on that list. I had to wait until it was mathematically impossible before I gave up hope. Especially this year in the Big Ten, everyone was beating everyone else, it wasn't a ridiculous thought that Michigan would beat Ohio State and MSU would beat PSU.

1-4 against tressel. Carr is outcoached. He is going to need a national title next year or he might be out of a job too. I'm not really in favor of firing him but if he goes, who knows, it might be the right decision.

It doesnt really make sense though...considering we're still gonna end up in a pretty decent bowl with a loss. Yeah, I know.......But if you search "Ohio State Sucks" or "f**k The Buckeyes" and you get nothing........ If you do the same for Michigan..........Its just..........wow.......... Anyways, I have something good cooking in Photoshop, I Might have it done tonight...... It's true. It's so lopsided in that regard. I wish there were just one or two good ones for us Wolverines for me to whip out at the proper time. I saw a wonderful clock that I wish I had bought one time. It was a digital clock and it said "The time is XX:XX and Ohio State still sucks.

After losing 3 out of 4 to the Bucks, I think even if we were 9-1, if we lost again this year, it would be a failure of a season.

Even though it was last year, we only lost to Texas on the last play with them having our Achilles heel (mobile quarterback) and also........... ...........we beat Penn State. Seriously though, we have the superstitious edge...every time I have off work on gameday, we win. Past 3 losses, I've had to work. Guess who's off on Saturday? Michigan 31-17. Bam.

Three losses in four years...Michigan should get up and ready for this game. Also, Michigan has beaten two highly ranked Big Ten opponents already this year (well MSU was highly ranked at the time) and I think it'll do them some good to not be favored to win. Homerism time. Ohio State sucks and Michigan is going to win just because Ohio State sucks so much. Seriously though, I hate the Buckeyes.

How many years does he have left on his contract? It's a shame to see a team get dragged down by one huge salary, even if it is a divisional opponent.
