If the Wings can collectively man up and make a run at the playoffs they're going to be a tough out as their play will have to be at a high level consistently just to make it. I think the Wings would do well to be a dark horse team this year rather than a clear cut favorite.

Anyone else going to the Wings vs. Capitals game this Tuesday? My buddy and I are going right after work. Not sure what time we'll be able to get there but if anyone else is up for it, maybe we could grab a few drinks before or after the game. I'd love to finally meet some fellow LGWers. We're sitting in section 432 and we'll be walking the concourse beforehand.

Can you ask them where the cave was located that all the Penguins fans migrated out of on June 14? I never saw this many Pens fans around Virginia, not even DURING the Finals, but as soon as they won it seems as if 1 in 10 people are suddenly die hard Pens fans. -

Never thought we'd make it this far this season. It stings like nothing else to come within one win but that's life. Congratulations to the Penguins though I can't fathom to think the commercials that will come from this. You were the better team. I can't complain. We'll be back. Go. Red. I'm pissed off but I can't really be that mad. The Red Wings were outplayed by the Penguins. What do you expect when that happens? I'm sure it'll hurt a lot more tomorrow morning.
