Anyone Else Feel That Nashville Will Become A True Rival?

Forsberg will most likely be gone at the end of the year. And, even so, he isn't enough. The Red Wings will never have another rivalry like the one they had with Colorado, just simply because of the fact that hockey will never be like that again. I think the Predators are currently our biggest rival, and I think their fans feel that even more than us. But, like I said, NHL rivalries will never be as good as the one we had with the Avalanche ever again.

Why wouldn't Fox Lansing pick up the game if Fox Detroit is showing it? Are more people really going to watch America's Most Wanted or whatever s*** is on?

For those in Lansing, are we going to get the game? It's being broadcast on Fox 2, which normally means that it will be picked up by FSN Detroit. But, tonight, the MSU/Western Michigan hockey game is on. Anybody know if I'm going to be forced to listen on the radio?

    OFFICIAL: Forsberg traded to Predators

I think this works out perfectly. The more I think about it, the more Forsberg made no sense for us. Not sure it necessarily makes any sense for Nashville, but that's no skin off my back. But, the big thing for me is, this makes the remaining Detroit/Nashville games that much more intriguing. And, hey, maybe a potential playoff series to go along with it. Really excited about this.

Wings acquire D Cory Cross from Penguins

Cross will not play tonight (Saturday), but will play and be paired with Kronwall on Sunday at Chicago. He is basically competing with Woolley for the sixth D-man spot, and it should be interesting to see how Cross fares. I guess I wish him the best of luck, as Woolley certainly hasn't been anything special this season in whatver role he has taken on.
