Another positive about having the NHL on ESPN is that, in cases when games overlap, they can air one on ESPN2. We don't get that option with Versus and it's a shame, especially in the playoffs. Let's hope Vancouver holds this lead and we won't have to worry about it.

First of all, let's hope Nucks/Hawks doesn't go past regulation. Anyway, this is too tense for me. I have full faith that the Wings will play a complete, 60-minute hockey game today, but I've felt that way every game so far this series and been let down. I really do think, though, that they'll be able to use the Game 3 fiasco to their advantage. If that didn't get them angry and pumped up, I don't know what will. The first period and first goal are, obviously, huge. If the Wings get the first one tonight, I think we take the game. The goal was to go out to Anaheim and split, which happens with a win this evening. Get it done.

This is such a frustrating game. The first half, the Wings were playing like s*** and getting demolished. Now, we stand here and the Wings are almost out-shooting them by double. And still nothing.

Well, s***, can't say the Ducks aren't giving us a shot. The period is going exactly according to plan (no penalty killing, numerous power plays, sustained pressure, etc.). We need to make good on it.

Damn you, Cheli! I have no idea why he was playing where he was, but he draws the penalty. This is huge. Come on.

Why is Chris Chelios allowed to play? I cannot wrap my head around this. Every shift, he makes at least 3 bone-headed plays. I don't care if Lidstrom, Ericsson and the rest of the guys get a ton of ice time. It's better than throwing him out there. s***.

Well, I feel a hell of a lot better about where we are now than I did 20 minutes ago. The goal gave us some life and we need to keep it up. In doing so, we must stay out of the penalty box. Good calls or not, we can't even put ourselves in the position to get penalized. I have a funny feeling about this one.
