I only watched the first period because I have too much homework. 1. Chelios and Maltby looked awesome. Maltby-Kopecky-Drake is the new Maltby-Draper-McCarty. 2. Franzen looks as good as he did during last year's playoffs. He's going to kick ass this year. 3. I no longer care whether the Wings give Sopel a contract. I was much more impressed by Ericsson. 4. I need to see more of Grigorenko before I pass judgement. 5. I still love Jimmy Howard. 6. The new jerseys kick ass (ours and Minnesota's).

Hahaha. If I had to pick one, I'd take Carter, but really I'd rather have neither of them.

This is the first updated jersey I've seen that I really don't like. The cuffs look awkward and the shoulder patches look terrible on the solid body.

Hey all. I have two Wings jerseys that I'd like to trade for other jerseys if possible. 1. Pavel Datsyuk, red, Koho Replica, size L. 2. Blank, red, Koho Authentic, size 48. Both are in flawless condition. If possible, I'd like to trade them for size M and 46. The L and 48 are just a bit too big for me to wear around comfortably. I like the new jerseys. The updated logo is a GIGANTIC improvement, although I still prefer the profile one.

Babcock is awesome. Only Ron Wilson and Lindy Ruff even compare.

I'm pretty sure that's just because of the way the fabric's wrinkled. Same with the tip of the wing.

Even if you don't go to the game, be sure to figure out which hotel the players are staying at and head over there right after the events. You'll get some sweet autographs.

Yup, I remember watching that game and cracking up when that happened. The best part was that McCarty didn't even get a penalty for it.

As glad as I am that Lowe decided to do this, I sort of want to see Burke let Penner go, leaving Edmonton with a grossly overpriced forward and a shortage of draft picks.

He's got the sniper mentality that we've been missing for forever. I've got my fingers crossed that LA has to let him go or Montreal has to let Ryder go. Another top 6 forward would really put us over the top this year, and we've got the cap space to make it happen.

I love Peca, but I'd rather see Franzen get his minutes.

It's not that they're not confident. They're following the Ryan Miller formula and giving him as much time as he needs.
