Thats probably much more titillating than this game. Fortunately or not, the Red Wings are stuck in a perpetual pre-game skate until 5/6 through the game, so whether or not we are failing we will only know once the Wings hit that second half of the third period.

I had a feeling that the Red Wings would rally around the fact that they were playing a game against the Predators that had to be re-schedule because their teammate almost died on the bench in a game against the Preds. Unfortunately, they weren't able to manage that, so I wouldn't hold your breath.

I was going to work out after the game, but I'm so sedated after watching, I might not be able to get up the energy to actually do it.

Dan Cleary has played 8.5 minutes. Hudler has played 9. Sammy has played 11. Franzen has played 11.5. Why does Babcock preach accountability yet reward listless play with more minutes than our best forwards tonight? Meanwhile, Chicago is ahead of one of the best Eastern Conference teams, holding their NHL best offense to one goal.

This feels like an exhibition game. Haha..I love the commentary. The Preds HAD been getting chances against other teams, its just that they're somehow managing to make them count against the Wings.

For a guy who supposedly watches Datsyuk like a hawk in practice, Flip is not a very good passer. Wings need to wake up. Clearys the only one really flying tonight.

Same story all season. Nashville must be a pretty crappy team, because the Wings are literally sleepwalking through this one and only down by a goal on a very weak powerplay.

I was just thinking that. It makes you really wonder if those ignorant "all Nashville fans are hicks" comments are actually true. It seems like they live just to chant "you suck." Its one thing if its an active arena, but have they even chanted anything else tonight other than "you suck"?

I hate having the better offensive chances and spending more time in the other teams offensive zone, but still being down.

Not many people are going to disagree with you. I would even take Meech up front over Kopecky. The only reason hes on this squad is because hes Hossa's best friend on the team. Thankfully, once Hossa leaves this off-season, we can get rid of Kopecky too.
