I love that Sidney ******* Crosbys ugly mug is being advertised on this site.
-
I can't believe how s***ty this team can look despite having so many ******* names. ...Actually thats probably the problem. Too many big names. No one thinks they have to step up. Somebody else will just do it. Its the hot potato of responsibility.
-
Datsyuk....ugh.
-
Would you expect anything else in the house that Patrick Roy built? Well I guess this isnt his house, but his team anyways
-
So what do you think guys? Should I get Babcock a... "Coaching is my other job. Hunting is my real job" T-shirt or a "I'd rather be hunting" hat?
-
Wow. Nothing on the PP. And then the giveaway.
-
Wow THAT was a quick whistle.
-
Looks like Colorado is still pretty stupid when it comes to the penalty. Pretty blatant hook in front of the ref.
-
Why are we skating like we're asleep?
-
How the f*** is our penalty kill 20th in the league? A smart man by the name of Scott Bowman once theorized, the best team in the league is the one that has the best average PK and PP.
-
Is somebody putting something in the water? The Wings look like they're skating drunk out there.
-
They should go. We're sporting some of their best athletic products. They should get to see them in person.

McKenzie: Sundin likely to sign with VAN or NYR
YoungGuns1340 replied to MacK_Attack's topic in General
The Nucks AND Rangers are nothing special. I don't care if the Rags clear enough space - adding Sundin to that roster doesn't scare me one bit. If he really wanted to put a team over the top, he'd sign with the Sharks or Bs. Particularly the Sharks. -
Unfortunately, Rafalski DOES have a NTC right now, because we really don't need a 4th forward making 6M on the ice when our problems are all defensive.
-
Wow. You are a ridiculous homer. I'm sure the Sharks could excuse themselves out of their losses too.
-
Mickey just mentioned the other night how by not fixing your bad habits soon eneough, they become that much harder to change. Over 1/3 of the season is gone and the Wings havent changed anything. I mean, I LOVED the regular seasons in 03, 04, and 06 too.

I think this is the stupidest thread ever. Are we forgetting that Hudler has looked like a top line forward for half this season and has been producing like a top-sixer? That he makes less than Mikael Samuelsson does? That hes an RFA after this season AND arbitration eligible? And we want to trade him for a GOALIE? This is such a stupid idea, I don't think theres really anything else to say.

12/13 GDT: Red Wings 5 at Coyotes 4, (SO)

The Wings have it too, but ironically the results are much different. At any rate, I wasn't referring to anything you said regarding the Sharks, and I aplogize for grouping you with those who said there isn't a problem with this teams desire. -
double.

We don't have to be Staal and Whitney for Franzen and Kronwall.

How come Osgood is bomb in the shootout? He looks like Brodeur in net in those shootouts. -

Boyle and Blake are looking as fresh and ever and Sharks fans are calling freaking Patrick Marleau a Selke candidate. That alone says a lot about whats hes been doing - good special teams, good D, good offense, and most importantly good hustle from a team that for the last few years has been a good coach away from domination. -

So you're telling me that as an assistant coach, he had no effect on the defense? Right. He was part of a great coaching staff that is no more. If it were so great, they would've gotten their horses running by now. Without doubt, McLellan had significant input in ALL aspects of the team last year. Theres a reaon no one was designated to be a defensive specialist. Whats telling is that when McLellan left, the Wings thought they SHOULD go out and get a defensive coach. That alone should tell you that McLellan had some effect on this teams defense. But regardless of that, what needs to happen is a few roster changes. Shanny and Steve were great too, but they were a hindrance in their later years. There are some guys on this team that, despite the talent, are taking away from this team taking the next step this season. And I'm fan with that and all, because I'm not setting myself up to think that this team is going to repeat without changes.
