Again, nice timing to pick on Hudler, right as he comes up with a great offensive read and almost nails his second goal of the night. You're an idiot. Go pick on Lilja for not dropping the gloves and contributing to goals against as opposed to goals for. Or Kronwall, who is -2 yet hasnt laid a bigh hit all game. Or Stuart, you know. Whichever.

Of course they're trapping! They've each been up 3-0 on the defending Champs. We'd probably employ the trap too in that situation too. Neither the Bruins or Habs started out playing that way.

Quincey DID have an awful camp. Im just wondering how it came down to deciding on Quincey in training camp, though. Its a baffling situation, but it looks like a big mistake now. I dont think Quincey would be doing as well as he is on LA, naturally, with those 3.5+ minutes of PP time per game, but hed definitely be better than Lebda, if not other guys as well.

We barely squeaked out a win against the Ducks and Rags, then lost to the Sharks, Ducks, Pens, Habs, and now its looking bad against the Bs. With the exception of the Wild and Philly, thats pretty much the cream of the crop in the NHL.

Its amazing how many passes the Wings feel they need to make to get the puck out of the zone. Thats a big difference from last year. It used to take us one or two passes to get out, now it takes us 3 or 4..

Its definitely Hudlers goal. Murph showed the replay back and forth about 4 or 5 times. Franzens stick was lifted and the puck hit a Bruins skate and went in.

I really, really hate that Rafalski has a NTC. I would love to have a Dman who scores 35 points as opposed to 55 points, but uses his head more in his own zone.

Nice ugly goal there. The Bruins were playing that PP so well. Pretty sure thats Hudlers goal. 9 goals for Hudler.

If anyone needs to watch any tape, its the Wings watching tape of the Bruins. The Bruins are giving up NO second-chances in front of their own net. Thats some incredibly well-policed ice out there. On the Wings end, its free range. If we could fix one thing about this team, itd be how we handle the space in front of our goal - which is to say, we leave it open to everyone and anyone.

Yup. That sounds about it. Ozzie only got 16 shots last night. Hes not too tired. Give him the opportunity to prove himself and maybe we can win this thing 5-4 or so.
