Samuelsson is lazy. At least 3 or 4 times this game he has slowly skated towards a puck and just tried to stretch out the stick to reel in the puck. Frickin mve your feet like Hank and Hossa are.

I know you're being facetious, but it kind of sucks that Rafalski has a NTC. I think New Jersey's system may have made Rafalski look a little better. Hes having a rough start defensively this season, but he was kind of underwhelming in terms of what I expected from him last year. I feel like 6M is a lot to pay for a guy whos not playing a very balanced game. I wonder if a guy like Mitchell or the like wouldn't be better suited for this team at this juncture, both defensively and financially. Overall though, I think he'll come around with the rest of the team.

That would be aa awesome line to throw out there for a spark. Those are the three catalysts on the top three lines tonight. Not sure how Hudler hasn't gotten his shot on the 2nd line despite proving to have some awesome chemistry with Hank on the PP.

I'd love to see Filppula actually put up some points this year.

Vokoun hasn't been tested AT ALL. And personally, I'm thinking Brad Mcrimmon is a ****** bag. Who mixes up the defensive pairings and decides to go with Rafalski and Lebda as a pair - the two Dmen who have been struggling the most defensively. Should we just compound their mental mistakes into one futile shift after shift?

That was the most awkward intermission show ever.

The Wings need a few boring periods to get back to their roots in terms of smart, deliberate play. Besides, apparently we were the "most boring Champions" this past season, so maybe it just works for us.

Meh, they usually have 5 or 6 passes picked off with the outlet pass in a single period. Its only happened once or twice so far. The Wings have done a better job moving the puck out of the zone than they have most of the year. Side note - Does anyone else think Datsyuk might have some arm/wrist/hand injury? His passes and strength have been particularly off the past 3 or 4 games.

The Cats did a great job of closing up the lanes.
