Weird would they be without the ex-pens in general?
-
Draper has been looking a lot better tonight than in games past.
-
P.S. I will consider it progress if the Wings don't take a penalty in the next 2 minutes or get scored on within the next 3.
-
Wow. What a WEAK goal. We may finally win a game that we don't deserve to win all because of the goaltending batlle.
-
85. And I'm not kidding.
-
Kronwall and Stuart haven't looked too hot together either. Thats why Im a little disappointed in Babs. The defense has simply not been clicking yet the pairs have remained the same. It took 2 games for Babs to adjust the offense.

Haha "I would say the most tech savvy is me" - Dan Cleary.
-
Sarcasm. /end analysis.

The Wings and Sharks aren't the two best teams in the West. The Wild and Sharks are. The crazy thing is, the Wings are still probably #3. Is it just me or does the whole league seem weaker this year?

Why has "bitter" become such a buzzword these days...and one that people rarely use right at that. No one is bitter. Frustrated might apply though.
-
Well I suppose you should do a little research of my posts. I've been generous. About 20% of my posts have been pro-Kopecky.
-
No we're just supposed to praise him for the 5% of the time hes on the ice and does something productive.
-
Say what you want, but that was a weak call against the Sharks. THe Wings have done that a few times to the Sharks so far and havent gotten called. Not that Im complaining or anything. Just pointing out that it hasnt been all bias against Detroit.
-
god, reilly. Its only 11 games into the season /sarcasm.
-
At least he got it out of the zone. That was one of his better plays..
-
And people are surprised? We're finally facing a good team.
-
HO LEE PHUCK. Detroit is BRUTAL.
-
CONKBLOCK!!
-
The Wings win about 20% of their battles in the defensive zone.
-
Or just misinformed.
-
If this game stays the way it is, it will expose the Wings big time. They have yet to play a team like the Sharks, and its showing. ...I'm not a fan of Murphy on the broadcast. Hes a bit of a homer.

Have you ever made a post that didn't put words in peoples mouths, or is it just your preferred technique in trying to make yourself look better? The fact that Sammy is playing better now would be crucial to trading him, especially for a guy like Neil who isn't a dime a dozen. And it has nothing to do with comparing Sammy and Neil in terms of talent and performance - apples to oranges. If Sammy was traded, his contribution would not be missed and it would only allow more time for guys like Hudler, Cleary, and Filppula to step up. We can't even talk about trading a guy like Neil and how that would impact our team because we have no one like him to speak of, hence his value and hence the reason behind the trade. Neil is not the be all and end all of hockey players but his value to the Red Wings is higher than his non-conditional value, due to the homogeneous nature of our forwards. He is also one of few hard-hitting and enforcing hockey players that Ken Holland would take a look at because he has something to offer in terms of scoring and overall on-ice performance. Neil is not unlike a younger version of Jamal Mayers - a player who the Wings were actively pursuing not 3 years ago.
-
All the more reason he makes sense as a trade item.
-
It may be Eklund but it does make sense Meech is just as good if not better than Lebda and makes 150k less. Lebda off the books is cap relief and the team takes no hit. And Boston adds mobility to the back end in exchange for a mid-late pick.

The Wings were playing much better at the beginning of the season last year than this year.
