Are you just trying to be an *******? The OP clearly stated that hes been doing well offensively, but poorly defensively. Which is the case. And any time you are being paid 6 million per year to be a #2 Dman all the while getting the benefit of playing alongside one of the greatest Dmen in history then yeah, sorry, but you're gonna get criticism for crappy defensive play.

I've noticed it too. His defense has been no better than Schneiders was, and we all know how much flack Schneider got for it in his last term here. As for the responses, chill out guys. Theres no need to tear people down just for making observations and criticisms. If you guys don't want to deal with it, DON'T READ IT. Go on your merry little way and have fun making non-critical observations and all holding hands singing the "let's go wings" chant in unison..

Yup. That pretty much sums it up. Although IMO, Lilja is the only Dman who is doing whats asked of him - hes playing like a bottom pair Dman. Lebda, on the other hand, is playing like a 5th option call-up, while Kronwall and Stuart look like 5th Dmen, and Lids and Raffi look like 2nd Dmen on an average team.

What game were you watching? Zetterberg and Datsyuk were amazing tonight. Blame Lids, Raffi, Kronner...and basically our entire defense for those goals, yet again.

That was a nice play by Meech. Flat out muscled his man off the puck and got it out of the zone.

The weird thing is, hes gotten worse every year. His first season here he was actually pretty decent, then he was just okay, now hes looking pretty bad.
