    I'm sure thats why ratings were down for THE FIRST GAME BEFORE CROSBY EVEN PLAYED A GAME AGAINST THE WINGS. And I'm sure thats why the ratings went up on sunday AFTER IT WAS EVIDENT THAT CROSBY WAS SHUT DOWN IN GAME 1. If anything, your "theory" does more to suggest that people LIKE seeing Crosby fail.

    I love the NBC coverage. Every questionable play by the Wings is noted. Every questionable play by the Pens and theres silence. NBC clearly has an agenda: If the Wings are dominating the Pens, make excuses that its because of non-calls against the Wings. If the Pens are having trouble dominating the Wings, make excuses that its because of non-calls for the Wings.

    The Wings got away with one that lead to an awesome play, and it lead to a goal. The Pens get away with one in game 1 that leads to an awesome play, and Malkin blows his chance. If you catch a break, make it count.

    I've only seen the last 8 minutes of the 1st period, but you're only addressing one of two issues that people have with the reffing. 1. Calling cheap penalties all over the ice. Or 2. Letting stuff go all over the ice, and then call a cheap penalty on one team, when you've been letting similar plays go on the other. People are pissed of because of the latter.

    They've been doing that all playoffs long, its just worse when they're tired. Right now, they're tired. They look similar to how the looked against Anaheim in Game 6 - worn out.
