Does anyone else remember in the midst of the Red Wings - Avalanche rivalry, there were still Wings fans and Avs fans willing to say that they respected Sakic and Yzerman, respectively? Its because of this dumbass s*** that Crosby isn't heralded like those two were. You'd never catch Yzerman or Sakic whacking guys on the ice AFTER the game as they skated off.

I don't know why people are making such a big deal of the POSSIBLE hand on the puck issue. The reason its a penalty shot when one puts their hand on the puck IN THE CREASE is because its a free puck that the stick can get to. What are the Pens going to do if the puck is sitting on Ozzies back with Hank right behind him? Use Osgood's back as a tee and whack it off Osgood (which would have hit Zetterberg in the chest anyways). I don't think "hand on the puck on Osgood's back in the crease" is a good interpretation of the rule.

That was a bad play by Kronwall. Its basic geometry. If you clear the puck off the boards only halfway up, that puck is going straight to the middle of the ice at the point.
