Legwand isnt back yet? I hope that remains the case. He could definitely give us fits. As for Tootoo, I could see him coming up with some big goals for Nashville. I'd like to see a good checking line go out against him. Gelinas will be a guy to look after as well. As for the goaltending, I was really hoping it would be Mason. But then again, Mason has definitely had some stellar performance against Detroit, and hes also the one with the experience. On the other hand, I completely agree about Ellis. Its like theres no middle ground with this guy. But I could EASILY see him stealing games from the Red Wings while Hasek gets into one of his flop fests. I pray to god this doesnt become a goaltending war, because I see that going in Nashville's favor. The more I think about this matchup, the more I think Red Wings fans should watch what they say. This team definitely has the potential to give us the first round boot.

Um, no, actually anyone in their right mind would prefer to see Lidstrom defending their zone with a one goal lead in the final minute than Chelios. And thats no knock against Chelios, but to say anything else is pure stupidity.

Im guessing they want to have Helm going too, getting him some ice time closer to the playoffs. I dont know when the last time Helm played was, but itd be nice to have Helm AND Abdelkader available for the playoffs. Both play a very playoff-suited type hockey, very responsible. I think either player could fill in admirably in a minor role.

The Caps would still be in the playoffs if they win tonight and weren't the division leader. Not to mention, the Caps have been a top team since the coaching change.

I'm not complaining. Ever since Ellis went on that shutout streak, Nashville's goaltending has been suspect. Not to mention their offense as well. At any rate, Nashvlle should be any Wings fans #1 choice for the first time, simply because of distance.

Oh my god!!! I saw this last night and it was just sick. Carcillo is a beast and hes nowhere near Barch's size. Hes always taking on the big boys and can put up some goals as well. The Pens got OWNED in that trade. God...Im just waiting or Detroit to find themselves one of these. A bona fide fighter who can pot 10Gs, 20+ pts per season. Absolutely invaluable..
