Did anybody see the infraction? I saw the replay..but I didnt see a penalty.

This is really just comical. The wings can have sustained pressure in the zone for a good 4 minutes .... and no PPs come of it. If Phoenix so much as crosses the blueline, its a penalty on the Wings. Why dont the refs just require all Red Wings players to leave the zone when Phoenix enters??

This is what I dont understand...the calls on Detroit have been incredibly cheap. When youre calling cheap penalties, they go both ways and thats a fact.

Oh Ive seen ones much worse than this. The Red Wings just played around with the puck for 4 minutes or so. Not too boring. Nothing special either.

Doesnt mean we shouldnt trade him. Seriously though, Sammy keeps up like this and we might be able to use him to land a guy like Dumont or Comrie (with a pick and prospect involved of course)

If he does make himself a remotely respectable player again, itd be cool to see him play a couple games in the winged wheel, even if it is just for publicity.

It would help if he it had actually been a penalty. Im sure he, like me, thought he actually had to hold a player to get a holding call, not just push a guy off with one arm in a battle for the puck.
