People...hes saying that Downey isnt getting any time...basically the same as a guy that got injured in the first period. IMO, Downey has done nothing but provide solid play for the Wings. Hes thrown some hits, hes gotten a fight in, and he did a great job of cycling the puck against the Ducks. No reason he cant see 4 minutes a game.

I thought Hudlers been playing well for the most part. And Flip and Hudler had some great chemistry with Cleary on the PP. IMO, if you replace Kopay on their line, theyll start producing.

Maltby has definitely improved from last season. Hes making some good moves in the offensive zone and has been really reliable on the PK. Hes just all around more noticeable this year.

Cleary should play with Flip and Huds, Ellis should get time with Draper and Malts.

Downey definitely won. He got the take down, but more importantly he landed a handful more of punches on McLaren with the left.

Yeah...Datsyuk laid a good one on somebody at center ice in the game against the Ducks. Hes really come on with the body. He doesnt shy away now. I LOVE it.
