Good news guys. Theres been this huge annoying bug flying around my hotel room for the last few hours and I finally killed it. Thats a sign. I also saw a lake on a map of oklahoma today that was called "Stanley Draper Lake." Another sign as well. We'll dominate this period with 3 goals. Wings in 6!!!!!!!

How are we looking guys?? Damn 4 games and all Ive been able to watch is three period of Wings hockey.

Lidstrom has to be injured. His play just hasnt been where it usually is. I dont buy the fact that hes burned out - he can play minutes like anyone else - I think hes got some sort of nagging injury. If I remember correctly, in the Calgary series he got pushed into the net going full speed and looked like he was hurt at the time. (He took a shift off and stood in the hallway but then cam back out.) Ironically, it was the next game that he was pretty subpar.

Well, on the bright side, Game 3 was our absolute worst game against Calgary as well. Lets chalk it up to the plane ride to an away team.

Im going to be really disappointed if the Wings dont make it past this round. I havent lost faith yet, but I will be one pessimistic fan next season if/when the Wings are heading into the playoffs. Its just always the same, although this year the Wings have the tools to make it far and havent been using them in this series yet. Game 2 was nice and all, but still not a full game. The basics of hockey are really simple: Play a full 60 minutes of hockey, and you give yourself your best chance to win, every time.

Im really disappointed, and my gut was wrong. It told me Wings in 5, and I was expecting a dominant performance after that comeback win. Cant blame the Sharks or the refs - they came to play. You can ***** about desire and all that crap all you want, but we dont need to bring up these excuses again. Wings got outplayed, plain and simple. Can they beat the Sharks? Yes. Can they win the series? Yes. Can we do it playing like this? Absolutely not.

Man, I thought the Wings would come out on fire tonight. Like it or not, theres an easy solution to not taking penalties - possessing the puck more often. 4 goals in 3 games is pathetic.
