Kipprusoff....wow. Although I couldve probably stopped at least 15 of the shots Detroit (Sammy) through at Kipper tonight, he made some HUGE stops. If it had gone to 7 games, I think Kipper wouldve won the Flames that series.

Haha, I hope not. Thatll give Babcock a reason to keep him in the lineup. He single-handedly almost lost us this game and that shift he took where he gave the puck up 3 times in a row was probably the worst shift of this series by any player....maybe even a candidate for worst shift of the playoffs.

I think we have to seriously question Babcock's sense of logic if Sammy doesnt get a loooooooong streak of healthy scratches.

There is no "old" factor. Dom hasnt had a lot of work and that guys that can get us the win - Franzen, Cleary, Hank, and Dats - are still pretty young. Well be fine.

arent goals the difference? We had a ton of defensive lapses. Im a lot less concerned about us getting the puck to the net for the next period then I am about a defensive lapse. This also seems to be the Red Wings schtick. Dominate the shots, but get burned on a breakaway.

This does not look good. This game is very reminiscent of playoff OT games of the past few years. Tons of shots and nothing to show for it.

But 1 game hurts the flames, since its in the playoffs, however, theyd still have the opportunity to overcome it if it went to game 7. No penalties on the play =/= no suspension. There have been plenty of cases where this has happened over the years.

The best part of this entire series so far is that the Flames had a gameplan coming into this series - to be physical and to run Hasek - and to the Flames, it was a smart gameplan. Now that the Wings have stolen the Flames own gameplan from them and used it to go up 3-2 in the series, its "goonery." Suck it up, little *******. If you guys were doing what the Wings are it would be "playoff hockey" and "a good gameplan." -

Can the mods change this thread title to "Red Wings fan acting like Calgary fans"??? I havent heard anyone say anything about wanting Iginla to get 5 or Langkow to get 10, but to say that complaining about Langkow getting NOTHING is "acting like a baby" is ridiculous. Iginla was the one leading his team into pathetic antics at the end, but he shouldnt have gotten a suspension. Langkow shouldve gotten a game. And it wasnt borderlin, either.

I agree. Iginla shouldnt be out, but Langkow should. Our player is out for god knows how long because of pansy-assed Langkow and got away with EVERYTHING. Thats was pisses me off more than anything. Langkow got NOTHING for what he did.
