He may win a "fight" against Bertuzzi if Tootoo reverts to his usual antics of not squaring up, throwing cheapshots, or beating on the other guy before he even has his gloves off. The funny thing is, any time Tootoo is in a fight where he and the other guy actually square up - which rarely happens - Tutu usually gets his ass kicked. When there are two guys on one, you get in the scrum by grabbing the guy from behind and pulling him off your teammate - you dont go and blindside him with a punch. Unless your tootoo.

His game 1 performance was awesome. His game 2 performance was overrated. More harmless shots to the chest than anything.

The 2nd period was a rest period for the Wings. They let Calgary do most of the running around and expending of energy.

That was a decent last 5 minutes. We got some good chances and shook up Kipper a bit. I had predicted this game would be a tight one and wed end up with the 3-1 score on an empty netter. Go Wings. We will NOT back down this period!

The link doesnt show what happened as well as they showed it on FSN Detroit during the game. It was a stupid shot to the face that Phaneuf didnt need to pull, but I dont think it was THAT big of a deal. I think the original poster just wanted the link to prove that it did happen.

What?? Detroit has blocked a ton of shots this year. Lilja, Markov, Kronwall, Cheli, Franzen, Calder, Malts, Draper...thats definitely something Babs has improved. Ive heard other teams make comments about Detroit being so good at that its one of the primary reasons Hasek faces so few shots.

I agree with you here. I dont think Iginla is cheap-shotting AT ALL. He is physical to the core and a tough SOB, but I think you are a little off about him being respected by everyone around the league. He IS captain Canada to those beating the drum for Canadian pride, but there are many people who are losing respect for how he handles his temper. Sure, if he wants to send a message by fighting Hatcher, Parros, etc then go right ahead, but with him USUALLY (not always) keeping his visor on when he fights, he has lost him a lot of respect over the past 3 years or so. Add that on to the fact that his main target last night was ZETTERBERG of all people and youve got a guy whos stock as respected has dropped a bit. That being said, nobody would EVER doubt Iginla's ability to lead a team - hes got leadership in spades and everybody knows that - but with that said, he is the guy who should be reigning in his team when they go after the non-fighting skilled guys instead of leading that charge.
