I gotta say. MUCH more emotion than Ive ever seen the Wings give. And in the FIRST PERIOD too! I think I even saw Lang go in there and do some roughing up. And Lilja didnt get his butt kicked. He did pretty good for squaring off with a guy that fights on a regular basis.

One team, one goal is pretty good. At least it has to do with the game of hockey. If I were the Preds management, I wouldnt have chosen "Live it up" with the media speculation about how they might be moved. Its almost like saying "Live It Up" Preds fans, because you might not have a team next year! ...and, naturally, Join the Red Wave is as lame as they come.

Tootoo probably would be a fan favorite here. And we'd all be homers not realizing that what he does is usually dirty. But thats just me. Im old fashion and prefer to see the guys square up the way they used to. And then they should dig up some of Maltbys junior records as a 50 goal scorer! What a fun time that would be! That being said, tootoo has more talent than a lot of enforcers/agitators.

What I like most is the energy he brings to the team as a whole. Its been a while since this team had a sparkplug, but Bertuzzi is definitely it. I couldnt believe how contagious his game was in the 3rd period last night. I cant remember a game where we had so many players swarming the net instead of taking lousy perimeter shots.

Tootoos pretty lucky he doesnt play in a conference with Janssen, Orr, Belak, Fedoruk, Peters, Hollweg, Eager, McGrattan, and Brashear. His only defense would be his typical offense of either jumping the guy or punching him before the other guy even has his gloves off.

How can you not be pissed if Flip or Rex are benched over Sammy? They are more skilled, more passionate, and more hardworking than Sammy has ever been since hes laced them up. Filppula and Hudler are flat out better than Samuelsson in almost every way - the excpetion being size and Hudlers defensive abilities, but with Calder, Hank, Datsyuk, Flip, Maltby, Franzen, and Draper on the team, Sammy's average D skills become useless. The sad thing is, I fully expect him to play over one of the rookies.

Maybe you are too young to remember, but we did hear non-stop about how good Zetterberg and Datsyuk were going to be. By the way, I love how you know more than the entire Red Wings organization.
