Actually, for all intents and purposes, it was a cheap goal in that Langkow didnt have to work hard for it. He was all alone with all kinds of time in front of the net on a powerplay.

No. Actually, I think hes trying some new yoga moves out while hes making the stops. So maybe from that, not from the Red Wings. In fact, Kipper probably still thinks its the pregame warm up.

Im freaking pissed right now. Ive only seen 10 minutes of Red Wings hockey in a week and once I get the chance to tune in, Im stuck with this sh!t. harmless shots from the perimeter??

Really. Why even play the game if the only shots you are going to take are from the perimeter on a Vezina winning goaltender??

I didnt see the call on Maltby, but the ones on Lang and Markov were justified. I saw some interference on Kronwall in the first 5 minutes or so as he was streaking into the offensive zone, but more or less, the Wings have nobody to blame but themselves for the penalties.

Calgary is running like a well-oiled machine. I completely expected this. Calgary is fighting for their playoff spot AND they're playing at home where they're almost unstoppable AND they need to put a stop to their losing streak AND they got a talking to from the GM. The Wings are going to have to play their BEST GAME to win, and they're doing far from that so far.

We might be seeing an improved version of Kronwall. If I remember correctly, he was actually doing really well before the cage.

Kronwall, and it pans me to say that. Heres to hopinh the sophomore slump, the injuries, and the face mask are to blame. -
The East is crap and New Jersey has an inferiority complex when it comes to the Pens. The Wings had no problem shutting them out this year. Once the Pens have to face some vets who know how to buckle down as happens in the playoffs, their mojo will disappear. They make it to the conference finals at best and get eliminated there. Thats my prediction.
