Some hairy defensive play in our own zone, but the Wings weathered the storm. Thats all you can ask for. Funny how Rafalski and Cleary looked ridiculous 20 minutes ago and almost cost us a goal, but come up as heros to round out the period. -

Is that the Pens are the most marketable team, or that they are the most marketed team, which has in turn made them marketable.

You gotta do what you gotta do, but seriously? Vermette on the 1st line? That isn't going to instill much fear in the Wings. -
Spot on. I don't know why no one ever seems to remember that we were without Kronwall and Schneider for that entire series. I would've LOVED to see how Anaheim did without Neidermayer and Beauchemin for that series, for example. At any rate, we can handle the ducks. I've watched both games, and it looked a lot more like a Sharks team that could still take it up a few notches against an Anaheim team that was playing their best game.

We've gone through this so much, and its simply impossible to discern at this point, considering Hossa's status. The difference between Hossa staying and Hossa going could be the difference between 2 or 3 other fundamental players staying or going. That alone makes projecting the lines nearly impossible.

The Wings didn't dominate the Preds in any way, shape, or form similar to the Jackets. We scraped by against the Preds twice. This is domination. -
