Pretty much. I'm not a Crosby fan, but its nice to see him WANT to fight. But if you're gonna fight, at least do it legally. 1st fight I see him in, hes gang banging another guy by punching him in the taint. 2nd fight I see him in, he throws off the gloves and doesnt square up TooToo style 3rd fight I see him in - this one - he holds on for dear life and pulls Ballard down who was off balance because he was - gasp - actually throwing punches. If you're gonna make a statement by fighting, then actually fight. Don't pull this cheap crap. Take your millions and hire yourself a boxing coach, Crosby. And an ethicist while your at it.

I don't know how anyone can complain about that game. I'll be the first to complain about the guys, but that was as close to a complete game as its gets in this NHL.

Its game 78, but I think we finally turned a corner. How many times have we heard "you would think 4 on 4 hockey would benefit Detroit, but their record 4 on 4...." Thats the deciding factor. We've produced 4 on 4. The stars have finally re-aligned.

Good to hear. I'd like to see what he can do at the NHL level. Is a he a good skater or a smart player? I havent seen him enough to know, but usually being one of the two helps to ameliorate the size issue. The next Hudler, Roy, Sullivan, or St. Louis?

2006-2007 = 173 players with 40+ points 2008-2009 = 173 players with 40+ points, with 9 guys sitting at 39 points and another 9 sitting at 38 with most guys with 3-5 more games to play. I'd say the scoring is merely more spread out than it has been in years past. Chalk it up to the parity between teams' talent this season.
