Pisani played like a man possessed once, too. Hudler makes others around him better, no matter who it is. Franzen doesn't. And Hudler is not easy to knock off the puck. Anything but. You've been holding on to that judgement since the guy was a rookie, GMR, but it doesn't hold up anymore. Hudler has adapted and his size is no longer an issue.

Osgood's rebound control was much better than it has been. He didnt face a lot of good shots, and only 2 goals against. This is what the Wings need to do to bring it in the playoffs.

Actually, Bettman has the ultimate say on how the rules are called, and had they not softened up on the rules, Sammy probably would've been more prone to hook/hold and get away with it. So, sure...

This is nuts. Darren Helm has 5 hits tonight. That gives him 25 hits in 8 games. Helm has more hits in 8 games than Meech, Lebda, Filppula, Hudler, and Rafalski do on the entire season.

Helm is the most energetic player the WIngs have had in years. Its ridiculous how much energy that kid has, and using it every shift.
