They shouldn't be putting Draper up there - Franzen or Flip sounds better - but Leino's probably out cause Babcock doesn't want any liabilities out there in a 3rd period tie game.

The Wings that "slumped" last year had better goaltending, better PKing, better defense, a ton of injuries, and more points in the bank. This team has serious problems that have been present for 50 games, and still haven't been rectified. They're nowhere near similar scenarios.

Pretty much. The games where we have played good hockey - the kind were gonna need to pull off in the playoffs without fail - have been well in the minority this year. Good defensive efforts and solid goaltending (it doesn't even need to break) are what wins in the playoffs, and those are our biggest problems. And yeah, its not pannicking when we've barely improved from where we were 50 games ago.
