Anyone who doesn't think this team needs a few more workhorse rold models needs to shake their heads. We've been operating at a fraction of the percentage we're capable of all season. And THAT is why Filppula is not a regular on the PP.

WHY THE f*** IS KRONWALL ON THE PK????? Did anyone else see on that replay how he just skated slowly towards Conklin while Eriksson had his way with Conklin? Kronwall is quickly turning into one of my least favorite players on this team. All that "Nick Jr." Bulls*** he was christened with when he was 21 years old went to his head.

Huh? Third goal was a terrible softie given up by Osgood. On most teams, the fact that Modano or whoever got the shot off would've been a moot point, because it would've been an easy stop for the goaltender.

If by that you mean that "suddenly our goaltenders are going to flip the switch and get back to playing well again, like they did last playoffs", then I can assure you there are PLENTY of fans who still think that Ozzie can still "get back into form" by the playoffs. Despite the fact that his play last years was one of the best of his career in terms of on-ice performance, and is going to be incredibly hard to replicate under any circumstances, let alone when the defense in front of him isn't playing well.

Right....if you want to ignore the fact that the Stars have clearly outplayed the Wings, and that the PK and goaltending have been subpar.
