I wish they would have left the games they lost out (especially game 5) and added maybe the clinching games to the other series'. I have absolutely no desire to sit through the games they lost again. It has the championship DVD too, right?

I work at Target on the Livonia/Novi/Northville boarder, and I saw Lilja yesterday with his wife. I wanted to ask him why the Wings re-signed him, but I didn't feel like getting my ass kicked. The guy is freaking huge. I've also seen Samuelsson twice, Holmstrom, Robert Porcher from the Lions, and Lindsey Hunter from the Pistons. Pretty sweet area to work.

OK, thanks. I think you have to get a subscription in order to get the hard-bound edition, which isn't really worth it to me. I'll probably just get the regular SI issue. Anyways, I got the locker room shirt, the Free Press Book, and I will be getting the DVD as well as the SI issue. For anyone wondering, the Free Press book is definitely worth it. I got it in '02 and it's awesome.

Is the sports illustrated hard bound book worth it? Also, do you have to get the subscription, or can you just get the book? And how much is it? Thanks.

I hear ya. CBC usually has pretty good videos to rap up their coverage, but this years music sounded like something from a cheap porno. Last year, they used "Beautifal Day" by U2, that was awesome. -
Second that. I was definitely jealous when I saw that boxset that they released last year for them. If they made one for the Ducks, they have to for the Wings, right? You would definitely think they would sell a lot more.

He would definitely get a ring. I know a guy who works for the team as a statistician, and he showed me his ring from '98. I'm pretty sure everyone in the organization gets a ring. Whether he would get his name on the cup or not, I doubt it.

I think that Sharks fans are greatly underestimating the importance of Tomas Holmstrom to the Wings. You can definitely notice that he is missing by watching the games. Getting him back is going to be a HUGE boost, especially if the Wings can find a way to take game 3, with him presumably returning for game 4. -
Yeah well, would you rather have your games start at 10pm? Not trying to be a dick or anything, but I don't understand why Calgary fans are complaining about afternoon games so much.
