And to add to Tortorella's pure awesomeness, someone on HFBoards posted part of the post-game interview with him: Reporter- "What did you think of Varlamov today?" Tortorella- "who?" R- "the Washington goaltender..." T: "oh yeah no I'm not going to talk about their players, I'm only going to talk about my players"

Amazing. I love Lundqvist. Truly the "Luongo of the East." The goaltending was the least of the Caps' problem. They still have every opportunity in the world to win this series, but this isn't looking good for them.

Lundqvist is simply amazing. The Rangers are so fortunate to have him.

That's gonna be huge for the Rangers if Drury's in! Offense gets another boost. It'll be interesting for the Caps with Varlamov in... He's had next to no NHL experience. But from the few games he's played, he's been very solid. He'll likely play out of his mind today but I don't know if the Caps' goaltending can carry them through the playoffs, let alone the first round. LET'S GO RANGERS!!

Just got back from watching the game at a friend's... absolutely epic ending. I'm pretty sure I woke up the floor when Niedermayer scored! LOVING the Ducks right now. I never thought I'd see the day. Just perfect, perfect, perfect choke so far by the Sharks And it always stings the most when it's Game 1. Hahahaha gotta check out the Sharks' board now, apparently!

I absolutely love how none of the first liners/big stars even got on the board yet. If our secondary scoring can keep going, and Dats, Hossa, or Zetterberg can get even anything in, we'll be in a good place for the playoffs. -

The Wings make me so proud Outshot 7-1, but we really seem to be doing well for ourselves! If not for penalties... wow. Great play Ozzie, and FANTASTIC clearing by the Wings on the PK. -
