Wow, TSN is really not riding on the Anaheim bandwagon at all anymore. It's wonderful! We just heard from Lidstrom as well, he talked briefly about how he is getting hit out there (as the main targeted defenseman now) but he tries to keep his head up and pass the puck as soon as he can when someone's coming after him.

The Wings are finally playing like we all know they can. It's SO nice for a comeback not to be necessary after the first period. I really hope the Wings' PK can stay this amazing for the final periods (or better yet, no PKs necessary!).

I also cannot handle OT. My sanity... my heart! You know, people may complain about the Wings' goals in game 1 which were fair, or the first Ducks goal this game, and it was fair enough. But that last goal was so cheap. OT shouldn't be necessary right now. Regardless, I hope that last Ducks goal made the Wings desire that much stronger to win it!

This won't be an easy series. Anaheim is very good. But to be honest, I dreaded the Sharks more than I did the Ducks.

I want to say that we got lucky there with Lang but it really just does show his skill. I still am in disbelief that we won that game. I truly think we may be out of the playoffs now if it weren't for Lang's goal.

TSN actually didn't insult Detroit today. It was nice. They basically summed the Wings up with 3 questions. Is Hasek too old? NO. Can Datsyuk step up in the playoffs? YES Is Chelios too old? NO. Wow do I ever love the Wings. Tense game but the Wings owned most of it. I like how they always keep the game exciting. And I'm so glad Hasek received his well deserved shut-out (thank you Lidstrom!).

Yes, I must say that SJ was good. It was nice to see a team that played fairly unlike our last round. There weren't too many dirty plays by both sides, it was usually just the same couple players. If Detroit had lost, I would have wanted SJ to go all the way (I... own a Cheechoo jersey). But now... GO WINGS!

The Wings sure had us a little worried at the beginning. But Lidstrom possibly saved the game for us. That was HUGE. He is playing unbelievably well, I hope SJ doesn't decide to shake him up too much. And Samuelsson... just thank you. You wouldn't believe my dance after that first one. Let's hope for a SJ team that is so frantic that they become shaky and Detroit can capitalize on more mistakes. The bounces have certainly gone Detroit's way thus far!

We absolutely need to come out stronger than ever tonight. I do think SJ is falling apart but they very likely will play with desperation tonight. Game 7 is way too risky, this needs to be done tonight. Of course a Wings comeback is better than nothing, but hopefully the Wings can jump ahead early tonight. Lebda will be great to have back and hopefully help fill the hole of Schneider's absence. And I predict Datsyuk and Zetterberg will finally have some road success. GO WINGS!!!!!

What a thing of beauty... The Wings have proved me wrong again. Every time they're down 2-0 I hope they will score but my heart is literally pounding with fear and I think they'll lose. They are so incredible, I will wear their jersey with so much pride tomorrow! Home ice advantage for us now!

Hi, everyone. I missed the entire first two periods of the game. Anyone care to give me a brief summary of how the game has been overall for the Wings?

I can't wait for an American team! As a Canadian, CBC is fine to watch Toronto against Ottawa, for example, but just no way is it tolerable with an American team against a Canadian one. The constant Hasek dissing was getting a little old. Hooray for a new station!

I'm so glad Lang tied it up. I had a good feeling as well before the game but I always seem to get nervous when the other team has the lead no matter how much time is left. Now it's completely anyone's game once again! How did the Lang goal look? I've resorted to following through the LGW thread because I can't stand CBC anymore!

This must be my first post here in at least a year. Anyway, it was wonderful to see the Wings win this one. CBC was so stupid in the first period, assuming Hasek wasn't "on his game" and they had that gut instinct the Flames would win it (haha!). But I guess that's just the bias a Canadian station is supposed to have. The Flames were absolutely disgusting. Especially MacLellan, a BACKUP goalie assuming he can waltz right in and hack away. It was so immature when the Wings were obviously going to win, that Iginla and others assumed they could do whatever they pleased. At least one suspension should be in order. CBC, with that Calgary bias still there a bit even at the end of the game, chalked up Calgary's immaturity/violence to it "being a message to the Wings for the next game." BS, there's no good excuse. Otherwise, the Wings themselves played as solid of a game as they could and did alright with not retaliating, like Draper at the end.
